Stayed Dec 28, 2024We loved the property. The decor was a bit dated, but perfect for our family of ten including four kids, four adults, and two seniors. We went to Government Camp to enjoy winter activities (tubing, skiing, snow shoes, sledding) and it was a perfect locality for doing all the above. Luckily, we had good snowfall (18 inches) for our 3-day visit. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We would definitely go to this property again.

Stayed Aug 1, 2024Great location and cozy unit, but overall it seems dark, dank and dated. Really appreciated the cookware, the living room set up and the large TV which was perfect for watching Olympics. Seasonally the unit wasn’t focused on summer rental as flannel sheets remained on the beds. The property lacks bathroom ventilation, there is a small window, but that isn’t sufficient to clear the moisture. As a result the unit, esp the main floor bedroom, is musty. Potential for mildew. Overall fine if you are planning to be out and about all day hiking or rafting and eating out for dinner, but not very comfortable as a full time place for an extended weekend. Needs a little TLC.

Property doesn't have AC, but we were able, with owner permission, to bring a portable air conditioning unit for the upstairs and one for downstairs. It would have been hot without it in the 90 degree heat. We would stay again ifnin the area
