Perfect Get Away: Top-floor 4BR Oceanfront Condo w Pool at Wild Dunes-IOP

The condo was beautiful. We had everything we needed. Except the elevator. LOL! We were on the 5th floor and it was inoperable for several days. Something to think about before renting a top floor condo next time. Certainly not our host's fault, they were great. Highly recommend for the able bodied.

It was a wonderful week following our 60th wedding anniversary celebration. We were joined by our adult children and two adult grandchildren. The owners were very accommodating and helpful whenever needed. We were able to relax, and everyone had their own space. The close proximity to the pool and beach was a plus. The Wild Dunes community, Isle of Palms and nearby Sullivan's Island are great places to vacation and visit. I hope we can go again soon.

This condo was perfect for our group of four moms and four teenage girls. It overlooked the pool and the beach. A short walk to the beach was nice. We rented chairs and umbrellas from IOP Beach Chairs which worked out perfectly. We had everything we needed in the condo. There was an issue with the elevator at the time we were there, but that was no fault of the owner and he did everything he could to make it right. I would definitely recommend renting from them.

The condo was great for a Cousins Beach vacation. The view is absolutely amazing, and only downside was…we did not have longer to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! Space and location were great! Easy access to beach. Owner was helpful and available to assist as needed (kept us updated throughout the week). Would highly recommend this property to others!

The four bedrooms and bathrooms helped make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean from the fifth floor. Easy walking distance to the beach. Kids enjoyed the pool as well. We used the outside porch regularly and it was so nice actually hearing the waves from there. We especially appreciated the owners allowing us to use their storage unit on the ground floor so we could drop off and pick up our beach chairs easily. Check in and out was simple. This was a very memorable family vacation.

We have been coming to wild dunes since before Hugo came. Have stayed in just about every place there. This is the second time we have stayed in Summerhouse. Everything was clean and the family enjoyed themselves.

My family (husband, son, daughter and daughter-in-law) have been vacationing in South Carolina beaches the last few years. Nothing compares to our experience at IOP and this establishment. We nearly gave up on this vacation after 2 previous vacations were cancelled due to renovations. The condo was more space than we needed, and was located perfectly to enjoy the ocean view as well as the pool. The description underestimated the view of this oceanfront condo. If you want a quiet place to rest and relax while taking in the ocean experience, this place is a winner. If you want more action it is about a 40 minute drive to Charleston so we drove into the city for a few magnificent meals, shopping and the aquarium. One of the best family vacations in years.

We enjoyed our stay at the Summer House on Isle of Palm. It is a great location on the Beach and near many dining options. Great access to Charleston and all it has to offer
