Paradise Retreat - 100 steps to the sand!

Paradise Retreat was a wonderful place to stay! Crystal was wonderful to work with. She even let us check in early. The house was clean and stocked well. It was so close to walk to everything and the beaches were amazing!! We will defiantly return again!

The place is great and the communication could not have been better. The only reason I did not rate the stay 5* is because the beds are really hard and the shower situation is difficult to navigate and still have privacy.

Very clean with great amenities and close to the beach. Crystal was very thorough with check in and rental details, accommodating, and helpful. Stairs (provided in the description - to the entrance and to the main level) and an uncomfortable bed in the master suite prevented 5 stars. Otherwise a very lovely place and stay.

The condo was as depicted online. Condo that has been cared for and is well stocked and nicely decorated. Was very comfortable to just hang out in and close to the beach. Crystal was great, available and communicates well. She also provides a lot of items, boogie boards, beach towels, umbrellas, chairs and plenty of necessities like paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee pods, etc.! Would stay again!

The place was perfect for our needs and clean! Loved that it was just steps away from the beach. The only feedback I would give along with all our guests, is have either celling fans or box fans in the bedrooms. The rooms get really warm.

We visit Carpinteria every summer and really enjoyed our stay at Paradise Retreat!

Clean property. Plenty of beach toys and towels. Just a few steps to the beach. It was easy communicating with the owner. We would stay here again next time.

Clean and cute and a short walk to the beach. This place has plenty of amenities to make your stay a great one.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay! The unit had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the beach towels (those are bulky to pack) and soft blankets. Our host was responsive and instructions were clear. My only advice would be to bring a sleep eye mask if light bothers you; it’s a bit hard to keep the streetlights from coming through the blinds overnight. All in all, a great spot and we would stay here again. Easy walk to the beach and to restaurants. Thank you!

We've stayed in several VRBOs steps from the beach in Carp. The decor in most of them is strikingly similar. What sets Crystal's apart is the layout and the spaciousness. With three bedrooms and two floors, it feels homey, and it's very comfortable. While it's not even a block from the beach, the best views are of the gorgeous mountains from the kitchen and second bedroom. Crystal was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would stay there again for sure.

Airy, beachy, spacious, and super-clean condo. Has everything. Quiet, off the street; just a two-minute walk to the ocean. Absolutely perfect for family of adults over a holiday weekend.

The condo was clean, spacious, light and a fabulous location. You can walk to beach in 2 min and town in just a few. Crystal was very helpful and responsive. We loved having all the beach supplies and the wagon to haul to sand.

This condo was beautifully decorated and is 1 row of condos from the beach! Our family enjoyed our 4 days here and can't wait to come back. The condo had everything we needed with enough beds, bathrooms and beach necessities for everyone. All you need to bring is your swimsuit! While the rest of the country was dealing with the heat...we had 65-71 degree weather all week. Thank you Crystal for being such a good host!

Crystal is a wonderful host and was very easy to get a hold of before and during our stay with any questions. We love the location because we were able to walk everywhere during our vacation. The condo is very clean and cozy and worked out well for our family of 6. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy time in Carpinteria, it is our family’s favorite place to vacation
