There are only four ocean front end units in Cedar Reef Condominiums on Harbor Island and this is one of them. This unit affords unobstructed ocean views with large side windows for additional views of beach and pools plus lots of light.

This tastefully decorated condominium has two bedrooms, two and a half baths with two master suites. The second bedroom has twin beds. Since this is an end unit, there is a wonderful cross breeze on the deck, furnished with a patio set to enjoy the fabulous views. New 'excited' owners have remodeled with new paint, carpet,local art, and updated furnishings including a comfortable, new queen sofa bed.

We fell in love with Harbor Island the first time we visited due to the natural beauty and quiet family atmosphere. At low tide, the beach is very wide and hard packed, perfect for walking, shelling, jogging, or biking. Shore birds are everywhere and a pleasure to watch.

We were pleased that our guests could use all the facilities of the Beach and Racquet Club including large pool, baby pool, volleyball and tennis courts, playground, and work out room. Hunting Island State Park is about one mile away, with its wide beach, woods, lighthouse and fishing pier. There are many golf courses in the area where you can call for tee time, the closest being Fripp Island, only four miles away.

Since the historic town of Beaufort is only twenty minutes away, you can drive in for lunch or dinner and to walk through the lovely streets admiring the gracious homes and shopping in the unique shops and galleries. Day trips could include Charleston or Savannah.

We hope you will love Harbor Island as we do - no crowds, noise or traffic, just a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy.

    Place was not that clean, lock did not work first day, plugs bathrooms not working , found breaker in box for GFI. , wife ran out of hot water showering. Bathroom door downstairs does not stay shut. Hardware issue. Drafty in kitchen. Need foam in several areas. Beach chairs at front door worthless and rusted. Lights outside door at night not working. Did service request. No one showed. Really think bulbs out. Property as whole tad dirty and trash not picked up around condo.

    My 8 year old and 10 month old went down for a weekend getaway and I must say this area was perfect for a newly single mom and two kids. This condo had a spectacular view of the ocean and access to the beach. On top of that, I felt so safe knowing we had a guard to get onto the island and the people who lived there were so pleasant and kind. This created such a sweet memory for my children and I that I hope to come back during the summer months and enjoy it again. I hope whoever reads this next checks out Blackstone Cafe in Beauford. It was so yummy!

    This property had the best view! My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely. Beds were comfortable and we slept very well. Kitchen had all of the dishes we needed to cook. Layout of the home was great and safe for my 10 month old. Check-in and booking was easy and the company was very quick to respond. The island and amenities was amazing. The beach was gorgeous and only a boardwalk away. The only complaints we had were the floors being sandy with no broom available in the unit, the master bed was extremely high of the ground. I am 5’ 7” and I struggled a little getting in the bed. The couch is in need of replacement and is not comfortable to sit on and dirty. The condo is also in extreme need of a good deep clean and coat of paint. There were dark smudges and dirty baseboards. The shower in the master also felt like it was going to fall through the ceiling. The balcony needs to have the furniture replaced and a shade added so it can be enjoyed!

    This unit was a disappointment. The photos showed a very clean property, but that was not the actual truth. We experienced bugs in the beds in both bedrooms, dirty utensils, dishes and silverware - including hair in the silverware drawer and old food on the cookware. The couch and dining room cushions were badly stained, and the pull-out sofa bed mattress was worn-out and needed replacement (thankfully, we brought an air mattress with us). We rented beach chairs and umbrellas from the management company and asked very specific questions about them before committing - the management company apparently told us what we wanted to hear, but the actual truth was much different....our complaints were given short-shrift and brushed aside with little or no consideration. While the unit was a grand disappointment, we enjoyed the remoteness of the beach - away from the crowds, noise and congestion of more developed and overrun beach areas such as Hilton Head.

    We have stayed in this condo before and the upgrades are very pretty, but the master bedroom still shows a king bed but it's a queen now. We really enjoyed our stay!
