Stayed Jan 16, 2022My husband and I rented this apartment for seven weeks during the months of January, February and March. This was an exciting place to stay because of the easy walking access to the Monterey Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Fisherman’s Wharf. Also, a very nice grocery story a block away. GREAT LOCATION! The apartment was compact but perfect for the two of us. We even had grandchildren over on the weekends and were furnished a blowup bed & sheet set from the rental agency. It has a nice gas range, great refrigerator & a great supply of serving dishes & pans. There is a stackable washer & dryer in a closet in the bedroom—how nice is that in a rental??!!! The only downside that I saw was that you had to walk thru the bedroom to get to the bathroom & the back deck. This wasn’t a huge deal unless someone was resting in the bedroom. Overall, I would rent this unit again if visiting Monterey!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This apartment is very nice. Perfect location next to Monterey bay Aquarium, and there are a lot of sea lions and seals nearby in this season. The apartment is also cozy and comfortable, which has whatever equipment you need during cooking. The manager is very kind and friendly. I did not find out a peeler for potato and fruit, he brought a new one to us after several hours. My time spent there was memorable.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was the perfect getaway from Covid fatigue. Some restrictions, but not all, were lifted so things were open, but not as busy as in normal times. The condo was perfect for two, equipped as stated, clean and even a bit roomier than we expected. Very comfortable. The differences in renting a professionally managed property vs. an individual's airbnb were quite obvious and appreciated. The location is superb with dozens of restaurants of all types within a few blocks, as were grocery and drug stores. Being right next to the Coastal Path was a big plus. If we return to the area for an extended stay Ocean Wave B (or Ocean Wave A) would be our first choice.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great month stay at Ocean Wave B! Everything was as described – well stocked and in good condition. Would highly recommend. The property managers were responsive on a few minor issues we had when we first got there. A few things to note: - There is a stand-up room fan stored in the closet. A review indicated one was needed and it was there. Came in handy on those warmer September late afternoons! - A parking pass was provided for the Cannery Row Garage (1 block up) during our stay. - For those not familiar with the area, Sept/Oct are the warmer months – that said, some mornings needed sweaters especially with the marine layer. - Next door neighbor was friendly and often said hi as we were taking our walks. Never got her name; but always nice. Location is great – a block off of Cannery Row but walking distance to grocery store, rec trail, restaurants. It was relatively quiet on weekdays – weekends were busier. The aquarium was closed during our stay (COVID) so I’m not sure how much more traffic there would be.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Another relaxing and fun stay at Unit B. There're just two things that would greatly increase our enjoyment for the next time: 1. A floor fan during those hot days. Could be stored in the entrance closet. 2. The bedroom TV has difficulty turning on with sound. It takes at least 3-4 tries to make everything right. Thank you, see you next year. Ho's

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A wonderful stay as usual. We gave Michelle a short list of minor repairs. A bonus request is to install a permanent shower caddie (mounted on a corner of the area). Currently, the caddie provided is not in a solid location and the bottle soaps slide all over the place). Thank you.

Stayed Jul 1, 2018The unit was just like the pictures. Perfect for two people. Being so close to the Monterey Aquarium there was a good amount of traffic, both walking and car driving. The accessibility to many restaurants within walking distance was very favorable. Sitting on the back patio was enjoyable.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was a a bright and cheerful condo with plenty of room for 2 people. It had everything we needed to make it a comfortable home for 6 weeks, and we could easily have stayed for much longer. A well-stocked kitchen allowed us to cook some meals at home, although there were many great restaurants nearby to tempt us. The location is incredible--just steps away from the coastal walking/bike trail, less than 2 blocks from the Aquarium and Cannery Row, and easy walking distance to Pacific Grove. We enjoyed kayaking, bike riding, wine-tasting, and numerous visits to the Aquarium (unlimited with an affordable membership). I recommend it without hesitation!
