CONDO MIRA DEL MAR is named for its spectacular panoramic sea views. It is a FABULOUS three bedroom, 2.5 bath unit located at Club Natale---a small 4 unit boutique seaside resort with a short 2 minute walk to a sand beach to swim, snorkel, kayak, fish or lounge. It offers SUPERB SHORE ACCESS SNORKELING & DIVING right off the beach, plus a great infinity pool. Its reef-protected , pristine beach swimming area enables your OWN CALM WATER QUADRUPLE OLYMPIC SIZE POOL”! And even some fish-viewing snorkeling!

The condo is FULLY FURNISHED and EQUIPPED with on-site laundry and all kitchen necessities, including
--stove
--fridge
--microwave
--dishes and eating utensils
--toaster oven
--pantry items, such as tea, salt, pepper and items left by other guests
--plus 5 gal jug of bottled water.
It has quality, comfortable furnishings, air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout, plus big screen satellite TV, DVD player and in condo Wi-Fi internet service. Bed linens and bath/beach towels are provided sufficient for all guests.
It has THREE BEDROOMS and 2.5 baths—for up to 7 guests, which include a
--master bedroom with a queen bed, mirrored closet, dresser & desk work area
--2nd bedroom with a double bed, mirrored closet & dresser
--3rd bedroom with 2 single beds,
--Plus an optional single sofa bed in the living room area for a 7th guest. Children are welcome. However, cribs bassinette or other child sleeping arrangement for infants or small children are not provided.
It's FIVE BALCONIES provide space for relaxing and enjoying the sea breezes and magnificent views-- three overlook the Caribbean sea and two overlook the lush forest. The condo is non-smoking except for the outside balconies. Pets are accepted upon owner approval.
The resort's pool side spacious cafe-bar and lobby area offer space for lounging and BYO drink or food. Common activity areas also include the 3rd floor ROOF-TOP viewing area and a 1st floor common area with ping pong and game tables—good for family or group gatherings.
SNORKELING GEAR AND KAYAKS ARE AVAILABLE and a guide can be arranged to escort you by kayak or power boat to the nearby off-shore reef areas for fishing or snorkeling--among the best on the island. The house reef is a dive site named Connie's Dream, which is shore accessible on calm sea days direct from the beach ---about 100 yard swim, or longer kayak ride around an island.. Best to bring hard sole swim socks or dive booties to traverse the coral in places. Another dive site, named Marilyn's Front Porch, is nearby and best accessible via kayak, although can be reached by shore access swim. The well-known dive and snorkeling spot, Mary's Place, also is nearby---requires boat access. SCUBA DIVE shops are nearby.
The resort is a NATURE PRESERVE, and the area is a SANCTUARY for endangered iguanas and features vibrant mangroves. The resort is eco-tourism oriented, and as such the natural white sand beach is kept raked and clean, but manicured only occasionally, as needed. The beach area has lounge chairs, shade palapas, and a larger bar/ palapa. Be sure to have bug spray in the beach area.
The general ambiance is A QUIET AND SERENE SETTING. If you are looking for nightly parties and music, this is not the place for you. The resort is about 25 minutes away from the major tourist and party areas, such as West End, and 40 minutes from the great beach, restaurants and bars at West Bay.
The NEIGHBORHOOD IS QUIET, PEACEFUL, the beaten path. The location is great---- just a 10 minute drive east of the airport and 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. Located in a quiet area away from the crowds of West End and out of the busy cruise ship area, yet within easy driving distance to shopping and all the island's best spots.
A RENTAL CAR is advised to explore the many sites on the island—though taxis are readily available, and quite inexpensive, especially if flagged on the main road. Some guests have expressed anxiety about the 0.7 mile gravel road to the private location of the resort. However, the road was significantly improved in 2018---BETTER LIGHTING, NEW GRADING AND GRAVEL So, even in the event of heavy rain, the medium sized and smaller cars will be able navigate the road without concern.
Our PROPERTY MANAGER, ASSISTANT and OWNER are not on site, but are available by phone 24/7. The resort manager lives on site and can serve as concierge to set up car rental, tours, snorkeling trips, dive packages, help with grocery or other shopping runs, or other island trips---at very reasonable fees--- as well as guide for restaurants and tourist activities. The snorkel trip to Pigeon Key is well worth it. Meal catering , private chef services and massage also can be arranged. Light meal service and catering can be made available at the on-site cafe/bar by making advance arrangements with the resort manager.

Guests are offered a MEET AND GREET at the airport or ferry terminal and escort service from their arrival terminal to the condo, plus assistance with rental car or reduced rate taxi service. Transportation costs to the condo are the responsibility of the guest. Pre-arranged condo check-in is required by contact with the property manager at least several days prior to arrival as there is no reception desk at this small resort.
Please note that the condo is located on the second floor, so a one floor stairway walk is required for access. Note also that rates vary by season and by the number of persons in the booking. The published Standard/Base rate is for low season and for up to four persons.
