Live the Dream in Solana Beach with Ocean Views & a Short Stroll to the Beach

We enjoyed our first time to this neighbourhood and really loved the condo property amenities. We didn't realize there would be sand toys, a wagon, pickle ball equipment and boogie boards x 2 so this was a wonderful surprise. The condo was really comfortable and spacious but the number of ants surprised us. We kept the kitchen really clean, but they would show up in the bathrooms, the walk-in closet shelves, and the front hallway. They were tiny, and not harmful, but the kids didn't like them in the home. I've seen other reviews for other properties in the area discussing ants, so I'm sure its a challenging issue for owners to tackle. When we were there we noticed a sign on the property saying the pool isn't heated during the winter months, so if that is important to you I recommend clarifying for your stay.

If you want a great ocean view and a short walk to the beach this is your spot. Everything inside was high quality and comfortable. One of our all time favorites.

Plenty of room. Really liked having three bathrooms. Quiet, great view nice furnishings and decor. Would stay here again.

This unit was the perfect 3bdrm, 3 bath ocean view for three adults. It was well decorated, comfortable, clean and had all the amenities - well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, towels, fans - beautiful, large master bedroom. The managers were immediately responsive if we had minor issues. Complex smaller so quieter and feels newer. Post office begins early so that was noisy for bedrooms facing, but my only complaint. would highly recommend.

We love visiting San Diego and usually stay at a fancy resort in the La Costa area. This beach condo was better. It had all the trimmings of luxury accommodations (plush towels, premium bedding, etc.), but it's also HUGE, on the bluff/beach, and feels more like you're staying at a friend's vacation home (a friend that has very good taste). The location is awesome as others have noted. The hot tub has very strong jets, and the pool is decent for a condo complex. The great room and master suite both have high-end 4k big-screen TVs with Sonos/Bose sound systems/speakers (you can use your Netflix login on the smart TVs). Parking is on the first floor and getting right up to the condo is super easy. The kitchen was stocked with lots of extras (don't worry about bringing the basics like oil, herbs/spices, coffee, etc.). My wife is a bit of a clean freak (ok, so am I). We're both a bit sensitive/allergic so we liked the fact that it's a no-pets, no-smoking place. Even the throws felt like they had just been cleaned. Micah and Alyssa are super friendly/attentive. Highly recommend. I know where we'll be staying next year!!

This property is in a nice location and is well decorated. Solana Beach is beautiful, with great shopping and restaurants. Unfortunately, this unit needs a deep cleaning. Carpets were dirty, bathrooms are full of mold. Towels and bed linens need a good wash before the stay. Everything felt damp and dirty. Partly this is because the unit does not have a/c and this area is quite humid. I asked the owner about this prior to my stay and was assure that there would be adequate ocean breeze and fans in the unit. The fans were gross - covered in dust and hair. I really didn’t want to use them. The ocean breeze didn’t really blow into the unit in any way sufficient to cool or dry out the humidity. And it wasn’t even hot when we were there (not above 80 really). It made our stay unpleasant. The carpet is sticky. There is black mold in the showers, the washing machine, etc. the dishes were dirty when we arrived. The property needs a lot of cleaning and attention to warrant the rate we paid.

This condo was absolutely gorgeous! The most beautiful views you have ever seen. Could not have asked for anything more. Everything was high end and impeccably clean. Owners were readily available to answer any questions and couldn’t have been nicer!
