Edelweiss River Haus on the river and close to everything in Helen

Cute place and very clean. Loved the Christmas decorations! Made it feel so cozy!

We booked this place on a somewhat spontaneous whim. Admittedly we initially decided on it because it cost less than the surrounding area and it was less than a mile walk into town. However, once we arrived, the unit was lovely, up to date, clean, and just overall comfortable to just relax in. It also didn’t hurt that the property itself is right on the water, and much more quieter than if we had gone to a tourist trap in town. We thoroughly enjoyed our beverages on the balcony overlooking the river in the morning, and watching the fireflies at night. The owner was very communicative on directions and expectations for the property (basically, treat the house as property with respect) and was very accommodating ensuring that should we need anything to just let her know. She also had a display of pamphlets for things to do around the area. Since this was a short trip we didn’t get to hit a whole lot, we will definitely be back, and if possible we will definitely choose this unit again!

Clean, well maintained and super cute townhouse overlooking the river. The stairs are steep but if you are ok with stairs it’s an adorable place and would definitely stay again. On the edge of town so quiet - we were there is Dec.

It was clean, plenty of room, walking distance of everything, beautiful view right on the river. Our grandkids loved it. Right next door to tubing and water park.

Super clean and well stocked with any forgotten essentials. Close to all local hot spots! Would highly recommend this property!!!

This little getaway was Perfect for my family. The home was neatly decorated with Christmas decor and it had plenty of space to accommodate my whole family. The Mountain View from the room balcony was breathtaking!! It was very magical especially on Christmas Day!

Beautiful unit in the perfect location! Scenic view of the river from the balcony. Well appointed amenities- host very accommodating! Being within a reasonable walking distance to all the downtown has to offer we just parked and walked to many locations including the amazing Fest Halle. A road trip was made to 3 different waterfall hikes within a few miles.

Edelweiss Rivet Haus was amazing in all aspects. The immaculate detail to decor and cleanliness made the rental peaceful and cozy. The location was perfect for a romantic setting on the river. Being within walking distance to shops and restaurants was convenient. The host was friendly and helpful as well. I’ll be back soon.

Our weekend getaway was perfection with this rental. Close enough to downtown Helen; although Main Street was walking distance, we rented a golf cart which was located directly across the street. This rental also located next door to Helen Water Tubing and we easily walked next door in our suits and didn’t have to rent a locker to hold our items. Super convenient! The condo was well furnished, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed. Hope this condo is available on our next visit!

I was truly surprised when I walked in. The place is beautiful and right on the river. The location is just as you’re going into town next to the tubing starting point. We had so much fun. It has a balcony off the master and a deck off the living room. Mornings are great on the deck and evenings on the balcony. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!!

Do not hesitate!!! Hands down. Downtown, yet tons of privacy!!! Clean, place and beautiful view! We will be back!! !Book it!!!

Place was as described. Great location, walk to everything. Nice and clean, which is always a plus. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Everything was just as pictured. The location was great and within walking distance from all the attractions and shops. It was super quiet and had a nice view of the river behind us. Bedrooms both had the In suite bathrooms and then the 1/2 bath downstairs which was very handy with teenagers!! Communication was excellent with the host!

This condo surpassed our expectations. Absolutely wonderful location, very clean and beautifully decorated, and had everything you could think of. Many surprising little touches. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!!!

We visited helen to see the fall foliage and enjoy the Oktoberfest festivities. The condo was conveniently located about a 15 minute walk to the center of Helen down a flat street that was along the river. There is a park and several eateries along the way. The condo was quiet and peaceful and decorated nicely. We enjoyed the decks on the river side. We would consider staying here again.

Helen, GA was an amazing location to visit. This host was exceptionally responsive. The accommodations and location are absolutely perfect.

Perfect for exploring downtown helen on foot.

This condo did not disappoint! The owner thought of everything,from bottled water in the fridge to coffee for the next morning, extra towels and linens and even brochures of local attractions. The condo was invitingly decorated and truly felt like staying in a friends home. We were pleased to be on the edge of town, as it was much quieter, but found we were close enough to walk everywhere for shopping and dining. I would definitely book with this host again!

This home was perfect! The location was close enough and far enough if that makes sense. Super cute and spacious!

The condo is on the edge of town so quieter than staying near the center of Helen. May be a little more than walking distance to the center of the village for some (older folks or on a really hot day). For us parking near the village was easy (visited in late July). $10 all day parking and you can leave then return later for no extra charge. Made going back to the unit to clean up then return for dinner a snap! The condo was clean, modern and had all the necessities. A good value. The property manager checked on us just enough to make sure all was ok but not too much to feel watched. Only down side (if there is one)… would be nice if the deck were screened in. Not a show stopper by any stretch just an observation. Had a great stay and look forward to booking this unit again in the future.
