Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a different unit and were moved to this unit after a terrible experience in a different unit. This unit was in a great location and worked perfect for our family. The only disclaimer is these units are old and need updated. Overall not super clean but some of it is just the age of the units.

The property and unit 210 was in poor condition and not as described. There is no view of the lake. There was no couch, only an old college type futon. Only the unit closest to the entrance would have a view. Original carpet from the 90's (kept my socks on the whole time) and an old dollar store rug in the living room. The patio was filthy with mismatched furniture and no cushions. We cleaned that up a bit. Seating was much lower than the table so your chin was at the table height. Dirty dishes, and the toilet was used, not flushed and not working when we arrived. My son in law got it going. There was paper towel, dirt and a dog biscuit behind a bedside stand and a wooden spoon in the windowsill for security. Crazy.The entire property was in poor condition and not clean. The picture on the wall outside our room was broken. We would have left except there wasn't anyplace to go on a busy week in northern Michigan during the summer. The only thing good was the location, everything else was awful.I spoke with Rose when we first got there about not having pillow cases and the toilet and she was frazzled and unfriendly. She said they were full so getting into another unit would not have been an option. Do not recommend this property at all.

Reviewer Comments: Our Stay was just OK , the condo seemed outdated a bit and we had issues with the TV in the living room area it never connected to anything, the shower curtain was to short and water kept weeping onto the floor which we had to clean up, like i said it was ok but expected more for what we paid.

We were told there would be bedding for the pullout sofa sleeper, which ended up being a futon but the big problem was there were no sheets for it - only blanket & pillow were found in the closet. No strainer/plug for the sink so that made doing dishes difficult. Also, the coffee table was so HUGE and took up so much floor space that it made it difficult to move around the space - way too big for the small space available especially when using the sofa sleeper!

Many things to do downtown! The place was very well cleaned and kid friendly great for a quick get away!

The price was kind of high for the small amount of space, but it seems that everything in Charlevoix is a bit over priced. Beds were too firm for our liking. I also wasn’t thrilled at the process for getting into the room. Picking up your door code in an a box of envelopes with everyone else’s door codes doesn’t seem safe enough.

Great location..friendly staff. Property description was consistent with what we experienced.
