I booked this rental for a 3-night stay while my son and I hiked and explored the greater BV region and could not have been more pleased! Absolute perfect location; just steps away from Main Street which made shopping, dining, and sampling adult beverages so convenient! But the location was just far enough away to allow for no noise or disturbances from those businesses that had extended hours into the later evening. The rental itself was very clean, well stocked with all that you could need, and the guest book provided by the host was full of tons of useful information. There is no AC but the home never got uncomfortably hot as BV nights are plenty cool, even at the end of August when we visited. One FYI for future guests is that the laundry is located in the closet next to the kitchen behind doors that appear locked (handles do not turn), but the doors open easily with a pull. I mistakenly assumed the closet was locked until our final day there and then realized it is just the style of the door handles. Because of my oversight I missed out on getting my laundry done caught up before heading to our next town. Overall an exceptional rental and great place to stay!
The home was nice and clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated how close it was to downtown and all of the activities we did. We plan to make this an annual trip and we have already booked the same home for next summer.
Loved the location. We were able to walk to all the shopping and restaurants. Flyfishing guide could easily pick us up each morning. Only had 2 concerns. (1) 4 apartments with space for 4 cars but several nights had to park a block away since some apts. had more than one vehicle. (2). One of our Bedroom windows and leased apt to the east front door was a problem. Tenant came in late drunk two nights singing going to the car 4 or 5 times. He’d leave front door facing our BR window open for a period of time. Not sure that this something you have control over. We were in 1D. Thanks.
We spent the week zipping out to the trails and back at night. Town is so wonderful with trails, parks, events etc. can’t wait to be back.
Great location and very clean place.
We were in town for a wedding. The location of this home was easily walkable to Main St 3 minutes and a short walk 7 minutes to South Main Street where there are a few more shops and the Surf Hotel. It's a small house with 2 bedrooms, but we didn't need a lot of room. We didn't cook or use the kitchen. It was clean. Great space for 2 couples or friends while enjoying BV Colorado. Check in / out was easy. Everything in the house was as expected.
This was a nice property. No major bells and whistles, but everything you need. It was convenient to walk everywhere you want to go in the city. The beds were small and very soft for our taste, but that is personal preference. We didn’t sleep very well because of it. No issues other than that :)
Clean, well-located unit convenient to downtown and River Park. We walked everywhere and hiked the Whipple trails. More quiet and less congested area than the new South Main area (and much less expensive). Would stay here again.
Great location and well-stocked rental! We came for a wedding and loved the walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. The beds were comfy and we appreciated the sample of local coffee!
Condo was clean, had cooking utensils, and plenty of towels and supplies of that nature. Parking right in front of the condo. Best part though was being able to walk to the restaurants and hiking trails near the river, as well as the main street. We would consider this condo again should we return to B.V.
This apartment was in a great spot in Buena Vista. It was within walking distance to a lot of great places including the river. The furnishings were simple but nice. I’d definitely stay here again. My only complaint was that it was hot, even on the cooler days. Opening windows cooled it down just fine, but at night, given the in town location, I didn’t want to leave the windows open, so it got really hot. Other than that, it was perfect.
This was a great place to stay for 2 people & close to many restaurants within walking distance! Would definitely stay here again
The top three things we look for in a vacation rental: 1. Cleanliness 2. Location 3. Price This place had all 3 of those! We loved that we could walk to the river or downtown. We also loved that it was clean. We did not notice any dust bunnies behind end tables or crumbs in the kitchen drawers. The only negative (if you could even call it that) we noticed is that the window in one of the bedrooms faces the front door of the unit behind it. The porch light illuminated the whole bedroom while we were sleeping. This could easily be fixed with a black-out shade. Not a huge deal, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might want to sleep in the other room.
