Welcome to the DESERT ESCAPE, a contemporary and gracious vacation rental that benefits from a complete renovation recently. Experience modern upgrades throughout, including a renovated kitchen, two bathrooms, and new floors.

This comfortable 2-bedroom/2-bath condominium offers an enviable south-facing view from its back patio. Nestled beside an expansive green space adorned with mature shade trees, it provides the perfect vantage point to witness the stunning Coachella Valley sunsets.

Conveniently located near the carport, the front door and entryway divide the living space. On the right, you'll find the common areas: a spacious kitchen with a breakfast bar, a dining area, and a living room. On the left are the bedrooms.

The kitchen boasts brand-new appliances and all the necessary utensils for a home chef to create gourmet snacks or prepare dinners for family and friends. The dining area comfortably seats 6 adults, with an additional 2 seats at the breakfast bar. The living room features a 65 Roku Smart TV with access to major streaming services and premium cable channels for your entertainment. Complete with a gas fireplace and walls of windows, this space is perfect for hosting. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large pantry housing a full-sized washer and dryer for your convenience. Beyond the common areas, the patio mentioned earlier awaits, featuring a gas BBQ grill, a dining table for four, and a cozy loveseat to enjoy the breathtaking view.

Heading left from the entryway, at the opposite end of the hall from the living room, you'll find the two bedrooms. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a Roku Smart TV, ample closet space, and a private sliding glass door leading out to the green space. Across the hall is the full bath, complete with a combination tub and shower.

At the end of the hall, you'll discover the master suite. Furnished with a king-sized bed, a Roku Smart TV, and generous closet space, this retreat offers complete privacy with a partially covered patio. The en suite bathroom features a double vanity and a tub and shower combo with a frosted glass window, allowing natural light to flood in.

Just a few steps across the green space, you'll find the pool and hot tub area. The pool offers a large tanning deck, while a well-positioned pergola provides shade for those who prefer it outdoors.

Located in the heart of Rancho Mirage, Mission Hills Country Club is a gated community that offers an array of amenities for your enjoyment. With five tournament golf courses, two tennis clubs, two fitness clubs, a croquet club, pickleball courts, and numerous pools, there's something for everyone. The property's ponds and lakes have become a sanctuary for migrating birds, and the professionally landscaped grounds provide an ideal backdrop for a memorable vacation experience.

Your health and comfort are our top priorities. In light of the global pandemic, Greenday Vacation Rentals has taken the necessary steps to stop the spread of COVID-19, including self-check-in with the help of smart locks and tablet guides; adding disposable face masks, gloves and disinfecting agents to the long list of amenities included in the rental; following the cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing guidelines published by the CDC; ensuring that the home is vacant for at least 24 - 36 hours before a guest checks-in; and training our entire team about the importance of and 100% observation of social distancing guidelines. That is to say when the day comes and it's time for you to check-out you will feel rested, energized, and healthier than on the day you arrived.

Payment & Cancellation Policy:
A. Payment: An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required at the time of reservation. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent. Alternative payment options can be arranged by request. The BALANCE OF RENT is due sixty (60) days before your arrival date.
B. Cancellations of Reservations: A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur a $300.00 administration fee and will have all other payments refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit.

    At the last minute, I decided to get away for the July 4th holiday, and to bring the dog along, but it's June 30th. Given my last minute plans, I doubted I would find a vacation rental during the 4th of July holiday, that would also allow my dog Then I was referred to Greenday Vacation rentals, and they were able to accommodate me for July 2nd - July 6th, including the dog! I booked the 2bd/2ba vacation rental at the Desert Escape in the Mission Hills Country Club. This place was awesome,(you really want to see check-out the Desert Escape on the web-site). I was surprised at the quality of the vacation rental, but I was completely astonished at the level of customer service that was consistent thought-out booking and during the stay. Case in point; 2am - At the last minute, I needed help accessing the property. Not only did they respond within 5 minutes of the request, they also provided the resolve and got me re- access into the property. ***Shout- out to David, YOU ROCK!*** Thanks for all your help. Overall, my At last minute get away was stellar, thanks Greenday. Going forward, my default contact for vacation rentals is Greenday Vacation Rentals, see you soon, however it will not be- At the last minute.

    My husband and I spent four months at Desert Escape in Rancho Mirage. Every aspect of our stay was streamlined and stress-free - including the check-in/check-out process, the newly remodeled condo, and amenities provided. The condo's location allowed from both sunrise and sunset views from the lovely patio. We had a wide range of choices for restaurants and shopping in the area. And, we thoroughly enjoyed the top-notch tennis and fitness facility at RMCC. The Greenday on-site management was helpful and responsive to our questions and minor issues that arose during our stay. We highly recommend this location for a desert get-away!

    I will start with the cons. The bathtubs drain slowly, as does guest bath sink. The kitchen and baths overall are very tired, dated and feel unclean. The patio furniture is tired, dirty and not very comfortable. The outlet on patio outside of master bedroom does not work. The mirror is cracked over the master bath vanity. Both sliding screen doors are a bit rickety. The lamp shade in living room area is torn. There were cob webs on light fixtures throughout. It felt like a bunch of furniture was randomly thrown together. The kitchen and bath cabinets are chipped and stained. The (white) ceramic tile is yellowed. All drapes/ curtains impractical. They are difficult to move and are more like shower curtains; very dated look. The unit in general feels tired and worn. $5,500 per month for rent is not a good value and we feel a bit taken advantage of. The online photos a bit deceiving but we do take some responsibility for not asking more and better questions about the unit. The pros of the unit are good location, nice views, privacy, decent layout, comfortable beds, nice TV's. The Greenday team was extremely responsive to our repair requests, of which there were several. We really appreciate Greenday's level of assistance with our needs and willingness to work with us to improve our overall experience.

    Took a trip with our dog and cat, and stayed at this property for about six weeks. Spectacular mountain views. Mission Hills is a very desirable location. The unit is very bright with lots of windows. It definitely needs to be updated, which I expect is why they accepted animals. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property, it was not clean. Appliances were dirty, bathroom rug smelled, crumbs and cup rings on bedside tables. We spent the first day cleaning. I sent a message to Greenday Properties and they were responsive. Apparently they had a problem with housekeeping. We are familiar with Greenday, which is partly why I chose to travel during Covid, and I know they usually do a great job with their properties. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. There was a nice courtyard off the master bedroom, a great stone fireplace, and the water pressure in the shower was good. We were grateful to find a property that accepted our furry friends.

    We had a very warm welcome to the property by the manager and he was very helpful to us when we had issues with the waste disposal system in the kitchen. He basically rescued us at a critical moment.
