CR102 - Sea La Vie by First Flight Rentals

My family and I had a great week long stay! There was plenty of room in the condo and kitchen was adequately stocked. Condo looks like the pictures. Great easy location to beach. Beach access is walkable. I would not advise using the hotel beach access that is advertised. On our first day it was cramped and packed as it seemed to be a bit of a narrower beach area. We walked everyday to the beach access just an extra block Down and it was much more spacious. *there are two parking spaces available, not Just one. *there is no padlock as advertised on storage area. We contacted First Flight with the issue. They did get back to us within 24 hours but a handy man never showed up and problem was never resolved. * only real issue- deck railings were falling off. Great central location to restaurants, Putt putt, ice cream shops, etc.

Overall it was nice. Furniture pictured is not accurate to actual site. Two chairs actually onsite not very comfortable. Screens torn allowing flys in.

This place is in such a great location! Right across the street from the beach with convenient access through the John Yancey Hotel parking lot! When we arrived there was a strong musty smell, we opened up all of the windows to air out the space some. The floors were also pretty dirty and the refrigerator leaked some inside. Overall we were super happy to be able to walk most places and a short drive to other spots. The beds were really comfortable too! We were told that we wouldn’t be able to use the pool at the John Yancey Hotel because it was to close on 9/17 however, throughout the week there were folks using the pool. We didn't call to get more information because we were happy to be at the beach all day, but would've been great to know that it stayed open later! We had a great time as a family!

We really enjoyed our stay here. There were a few things that were not stated in the listing. We got an email a week before check-in stating that they only provided one role of toilet paper and paper towels, one trash bag, and one dishwashing tablet. We also had to bring our own dish soap and hand soap. In my opinion, that should have been noted in the listing and none of that was. We didn't get in bed the first night until around 11 and upon unmaking the bed we noticed that the sheets had black dog hair all over them and the quilt was stained. They did bring over fresh sheets and a new comforter the next morning. My other complaint is that all the knives in the knife block had rust spots all over them and the water pressure in the shower is horrible. There is a lift there to get your stuff up the stairs, that was very convent. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and there were just a few things we were unhappy about. The beach ramp is just right across the street.

Overall excellent experience. The fridge leaked a little on the inside, the shower drains were slow to drain (hello sand!), and the toilets were tricky about flushing. But overall everything was very clean, comfortable, and at the absolute perfect location. Ammenities were great as well.

Property was perfect for two adult couples. Close to the beach and we loved that we could use the pool across the street. We would definitely stay here again!

The area around the Kitty hawk & Kill Devil Hills has become to crowded & commercialized since our last visit.. If we decide to visit OBX again it will be to the southern portion below Nags Head.

Nice spacious condo. Perfect location. Only dislike was no light on sign for the building so it was difficult to find at night and the bushes were so big they obstructed the view of incoming traffic.
