The building is a Solid brick building and the walls must be made of lead because I hardly heard anything from above, below or next door. The building is kept quite clean, garbage room,, mailroom, the laundry room is spotless and the washers and dryer’s are in excellent working condition and plentiful.

I lived here for three months straight and I cannot recommend this place enough. You will love it and is a perfect choice to stay during your visit to Portland. Great location (close to grocery, liquor, cute shops, post office, anything you could possibly need during your stay), nice accommodations such as cooking items and cleaning supplies, it's a quiet and great place to retreat to at the end of the day, both Ellen and James are very responsive if you're ever in need of something and incredibly helpful. I can't recommend this place enough!

This is a lovely, comfortable apartment, in a quiet, convenient part of the Pearl District. The street car stop is right across the street, and there are lots of fun restaurants 2 blocks in any direction. The apartment is well stocked, and the kitchen is great. Ellen was wonderful to work with, and there is a key box that makes move in and out worry free.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for what we were looking for and Ellen was a kind host. The place had everything we needed for a long stay. The only negative I would say is that the windows let in a lot of noise. Other than that, a terrific stay in a really great place.

My husband & I stayed here for 2 months during our relocation to Portland, and were very happy. Great location, walking distance to loads of good restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment is comfortable and well looked after, with lots of thoughtful touches. It has everything you need. I had a couple of small questions for the owner when we arrived, and she replied to my texts right away.

My husband and I have stayed in this property on two long term stays (five weeks from in December, 2014 and again from mid-December to mid-January in 2015). It is delightful. The building is located on the streetcar line and within walking distance to the trendy NW area and various amenities. The restaurant and bar scene is fabulous. There's parking. If you have a vehicle access to 405 is seconds away. The condo itself is small, but tidy and with separate living and bedroom makes it seem much larger. The kitchen is updated and fully stocked so cooking at home is always an option. Safe, secure, clean, and comfortable - a return trip is definitely in our future.

My partner and I stayed in the condo for ~5 weeks in October / November with our newborn babies. The condo was perfect for our needs - superbly located at walking distance from Portland's greatest areas, clean, quiet and well equipped. We felt completely at home away from home. The condo met its description perfectly and similarly met our expectations fully. Ellen, the owner, was pleasant to interact with, accommodating and responsive. A problem with the plumbing in our unit was immediately and fully repaired. Relatives who stayed in another one of Ellen's units in the same building also experienced excellent service. The only (minor) disadvantages I would note - the unit didn't have a duvet, so if you're picky about sleeping with one make sure you bring your own; the unit doesn't have A/C (though fans are provided), so if you tend to be hot, you should consider that fact. Regardless, we would warmly recommend this unit to couples that are looking to comfortably spend some time in a great part of town.
