Wood flooring in common areas and carpeted bedrooms for extra coziness. • Living area: Rustic, mountain-chic spacious open floorplan. Floor to ceiling stone, wood burning fireplace, shiplap wet bar, leather sleeper sofa converts to queen size bed. Stacked washer and dryer located right off living room. Note: for severe allergy sufferers, be aware that real wood is used in the fireplace!

Extremely cosy mountain condo with large wood burning fireplace. Probably the favorite of all the places we’ve stayed in Chetola. Will definitely book again.

Comfortable accommodations and well stocked. The patio furniture could use an upgrading and cleaning. Love Chetola resort with its amenities, restaurant , indoor pool and spa, beautiful grounds and close proximity to downtown.

I chose this particular unit after looking at a few others that were available at the same resort. I chose this unit because of the decor and clearly the unit had lots of upgrades. Also, because of the wonderful reviews that were already posted. I’ll start with the kitchen, fully stocked with all dinnerware and utensils you may need. Love the Keurig and it also had a standard coffee maker as well. Paper towels, hand soap, pods for the dishwasher and scrub sponges were readily available. The dining room table was large and seats were comfortable. Living room furniture was the same, very comfortable and spacious. The master bath is huge with a two person jet tub. Very nice!!! The master bedroom had a nice large walk-in closet and the storage space in the dresser and two nightstands were perfect for my husband and I. The bed was very plush and according to previous reviews, most people seem to really enjoy it. For myself with some back neck and shoulder pain it was not as comfortable as I hoped, but that is just because I have ongoing issues with pain. The AC unit worked great was very easy to operate with digital controls. Loved the sliding glass door in the seating area on the porch very peaceful setting and the sound of the birds was amazing. We happen to get lucky and no one was staying in the building we were at the entire time we were there so it was very, very quiet!

This condo was even lovelier in person than in the photos. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked and had everything we needed. The living area is spacious and the entire unit was larger than I expected. Bathrooms were large and well-supplied. The master bedding, specifically, was so comfortable and luxurious. The host answered all my questions immediately! It is an easy walk to all the amenities available at the complex. When we return to the area we will definitely try to rent this unit again!

The resort & condo were both beautiful and well appointed. Unfortunately we only had 1 working remote control out of 3 tvs. One day of our stay consisted of 8 hrs of heavy landscaping being done right beside our windows/porches. It was loud and we had noprivac6zero privacy

Condo was just what we needed for a quiet Thanksgiving away! Clean and cozy. The only small issue I had is that the oven runs very cold. It took 45 mins instead of 25 to cook cinnamon rolls and I had to raise the temp from 350 to 425.

Beautiful well appointed & spacious condo in the heart of Chetola - this condo is in a great private location, close enough to walk to town and all around the resort. Very clean and very comfortable, did not feel like a “rental”. The condo even had toys & games for our children and we loved the wood burning fire place. Blowing Rock is gorgeous in the fall and we enjoyed all the amenities Chetola offers - fishing in the lake catching rainbow trout, swimming in the indoor pool, and fire pit by the lake. We have stayed at Chetola many times and this was one of our favorite stays!

Loved the location. The condo was nice. The shower in master bath has mold, the condo smelled musky and the bedding in single beds was uncomfortable. The master bed was very nice. Love Blowing Rock and would definitely stay at Chetola Resort again.

Lovely condo. Owner was quick to respond to questions. It had everything we needed. Master bed super comfy. Guest bedroom beds were hard but not the end of the world. There is not comfortable seating outside which we would have loved to have taken advantage of as a group. They have a lovely little patio but the set up isn’t conducive or comfortable—we had friends over and there just was no way to enjoy visiting while enjoying the cool outdoors. The only reason I give this unit a 4 is because of the incredibly strong smell of fireplace smoke. If you are sensitive to that this is not the unit for you. My grown daughter has a terminal illness involving the lungs and we found this almost unbearable. It was exasperated by the fact the ashes bin is left at the front door so you are hit with the smell immediately. They have thoughtfully put an air filtering machine in the living room but the filter was blinking red so it was not working. Again may not be an issue for most but if you have allergies asthma etc know it is very strong. Otherwise a lovely experience.
