- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- This HOA/Condo strictly prohibits pets of any kind, including Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). Service Animals, as defined by law, are permitted. If you plan to bring a Service Animal, please notify us in advance so we can inform the HOA. Important Note: If it is determined that the animal is not a certified Service Animal, eviction may occur. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- Be sure to inquire about discounted Winter Texan/Snowbird rates and long-term stay discounts!
- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. Services can be intermittent on an island.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.
- Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.
- This unit includes an in-unit washer/dryer. Washers and Dryers coin laundry are in the complex and available for guest use.
- Guests must be 25 years or older to book this home. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by an adult. Per HOA rules, any group without someone 25 years or older present is subject to eviction.
- Please note: During periods when city water restrictions are in place, rinse stations may not be available for guest use.

Parking Details:
- Parking passes required. 2 parking passes provided per condo.
- There is no assigned parking, so you can park anywhere within the complex.
- Boat parking is allowed in designated areas.
- Golf cart parking is allowed in designated area (you must purchase a separate pass).

Please note that we do not provide a pack 'n play or a high chair, but guests may reach out to Baby Quip for baby items.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    We were surprised how close we were to the water. You see the water from tye livingroom and master bedroom. Clean, all cooking utensils, pans - etc. Was provided. Excellent communication! Beds are comfortable, beach towels and chairs provided. Heads up - light/fan contols are not hung on the wall in every room. It's separate and looks king of like a star trek com.

    We loved spending Christmas here! The weather was perfect! The condo had everything we needed. We loved walking on the boardwalk to the beach with plenty of beach chairs and towels to use.

    Wow! This place was awesome in every way. Here are some key points for us that really made this place perfect: Very close to the beach. You can hear the water from the back patio. They have sand toys and beach chairs! Washer and dryer IN the unit. The beds are super comfy. TVs in every room! Board games! A very well stocked kitchen and they have everything. They were super generous with toilet paper and bags etc. I can’t say enough great things. Truly. The grounds are pristine and loads to do. Gracious neighbors and just an overall perfect everything. Thank you so much for the wonderful Texan hospitality that we love so much.

    Our family had the best time staying at this condo! The location is great as it’s close to shops, restaurants, and beach access. The views were gorgeous! The condo was clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary equipment for food/drinks, and had a washer/dryer. The facility has two pools, one directly across from this condo. Our family had the best time and can’t wait to go back. We will definitely stay here again!

    Our fave family vacay spot is Port A, so we brought our friends along this time to experience the island. Island Retreat is always a great choice for lodging because of it's ease of access to the beach, loads of on site amenities and updated in town condos.

    I loved the placed but feel like it wasnt cleaned properly. There was shattered glass all over the patio. All the windows in the patio were filthy which tell me the cleaning person never went out there. Found wrappers under the master bed as well. If i would to stay at this property again i would bring all my own pots and pan. The ones at the property are all scratches up or rusted. Not somthing you want to be cooking for your family with.We ended up buying a set so we could cook. The place is a perfect spot from the beach, just a quick walk.

    The listing was spot on for proximity to the beach and ease of access. The beach gear provided by the property was a nice surprise. Laundry facilities in the unit were helpful. Kitchen appliances were all working and helped our stay. I'm always skeptical of what the beds will be like in VRBO properties, but these were generally comfortable. The pool was close, clean, and provided a nice way to close out the day. The property seemed clean but in general need of maintenance. One door appeared to be missing a lock, some attempts at patching holes in the drywall that were incomplete, and some of the window coverings were in a state of disrepair.

    This is a great unit! It is on the second floor (of three floors), so you can see the Gulf of Mexico over the dunes from the balcony. The path to the beach is very close to the building and one of the pools is right across the parking lot from the building. The furnishings were nice and it had everything we needed (except Kleenex). It was nice that they provided beach chairs and umbrellas. The onsite management (there Monday-Friday) and the folks at AvantStay were very responsive. I would definitely stay at this property and in this unit again. I didn't receive check-out instructions and full information about the property by email until the morning of check-out, which seems like it was a glitsch. Check-out was easy. We only had to take out the trash and start the dishes.
