Fabulous stay in a comfortable, quiet place. The only challenge was understanding what floor/condo it was once I arrived to the building.

The townhome was walking distance to Basalt amenities and very peaceful by the river.

This was our second stay in this unit in mid-February. We visit family in Basalt and ski at Aspen during our trips. Basalt is a charming town with great restaurant options and is just a 20-30 minute drive to Aspen, making it a great option if you don’t mind a short drive to the slopes.The highlight of this unit is its beautiful design—soaring ceilings, great natural light, and thoughtful decor. It’s well-maintained and perfect for our family of four with two small children. One thing to note is the few flights of stairs to reach the unit, which could be tricky with heavy luggage. We usually leave our ski gear in the car to make it easier.Overall, it’s been an excellent choice for us, and we hope to return again!

Overall impression: clean, homey, area to relax/study/work, nice little balcony area. I like how the bedrooms both have a bathroom. Good location. Everything works nicely.

I have stayed at this property twice for skiing. Great property to be away from the ski crowds but close enough for easy access to the ski areas.

Nice property and we love Basalt.Cons… cannot control heat…way too hot!!!!Accused of bringing devices into unit by property manager while using an existing fan to cool down bedroom.Email is a bad way to communicate during stay since email delivery is delayed by hours. Did not have correct cell number until days into stay. Did not get correct information regarding garage access by property manager.Felt the property manager was always on the defensive and accused us, the client, of doing something incorrectly or wrong.

We enjoy this place and definitely will come back.

This property is as lovely in person as in the photos. It was impeccably clean and had everything we could have needed, including shampoo and conditioner. Very convenient walk to shops and restaurants. We will definitely be booking again if it's available.

Nice 2br unit. Great location in old town Basalt. We walked most anywhere in town. Unit very well equipped. The fact that there was everything you needed including spices, garbage bags, shampoo was unique and appreciated. Very pleased w our choice!

Located in the center of town loved walking to all the restaurants and parks along the river. Easy parking Great beds and plenty of room for our family of 4. Will definitely stay again!

We arrived at this property after an 8 hour trip. Unloaded our luggage and climbed the 3 flights of stairs. When we walked in it had not been cleaned and in fact it was filthy. Bedding was piled high on the beds, bathrooms were disgusting, the kitchen table was dirty, the bath tubs and showers were filthy as were the floors, the sinks and the appliances. After an hour of being transferred or on hold with VRBO and after not being able get ahold of the property manager, we were told we would have to find another place to stay and being 6:00pm on a Saturday night, this was quite difficult. We were told that VRBO would reimburse us for this nights stay. Jump forward 6 days, and we have not received any correspondence on this reimbursement. Very disappointed that we have to chase this down and no follow up from VRBO on this. If you book this place, you may want to climb the 3 flights of stairs before unloading to make sure the place is clean.

We had a great 5 days at this wonderful condo right on the Frying Pan River and a block or two away from all of the great restaurants in Basalt. It was clean, spacious, well-equipped, high-end. Our only problem was check-in, as the property description said the condo was on the left when it was on the right, that the # was 21D when it was 21, that the box was across from the door when it was on the door lock, so we had to search around to make sure we were in the right place. No big deal, easily fixed. We would definitely come again.
