Old Town Basalt Guest House

This was an absolutely wonderful stay! The communication from Janie prior to check in & during our stay was always quick and helpful. The guest house is outfitted with everything we needed, was very clean & we're a huge fan of the wood ceilings. The stainless steel pots, pans & measuring cups were great as we try to avoid non-stick. We will certainly be back!

We had such an amazing time in this charming cottage. It is so comfortable and cozy and in the perfect location.

This is an exceptionally wonderful property. Very comfortable and well appointed. A family property that occasionally finds its way to be available. If you are headed to the Roaring Fork Valley and can stay here, jump at the chance. You will not find anything close to this perfect.

We stayed in Janie's cottage for a week. Each day we awakened from a deep sleep in the fabulous king bed, descended to the well-appointed and immaculate kitchen and enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast. For a place so cozy, it was remarkably roomy. It had every amenity a traveler could want. We especially appreciated Janie's home baked goodies! We highly recommend Janie's cottage!

Quaint well stocked guesthouse on a beautiful piece of property just blocks from town. Lots of extras from this host - fresh flowers from their garden and homemade cookies! Great hike recommendations as well. We had a separate entrance and so felt we had our privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable and beautiful house in a residential neighborhood within walking distance of the town of Basalt. Lovely covered patio, well stocked kitchen and a great upstairs bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. The owners were very friendly and available for questions. We will return!

This was the perfect spot for our family. Easy access to Ski and a great place to relax!

The cottage was absolutely perfect and beautiful! We enjoyed the ease of check-in/out, communication with Janie and the delicious homemade treats as we arrived! The proximity to the ski slopes and ease of slope shuttle was a positive. The town of Basalt is cute and many local food/ brewery options with great food and customer service, too! The cozy cottage was perfect for our family! It was spotless with all kitchen tools needed for cooking, laundry, and comfortable beds! Janine and Scott were quickly responsive if we had questions. We will stay here again, if it’s available for our future dates. Highly recommend! Janie and Scott, thank you for being great hosts!
