Welcome to 101 Mariner's Cay! Enjoy a gorgeous panoramic view of the river and marsh from this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. Try your luck at fishing from the community dock, or go swimming in the large community pool after a game of tennis. Easily head to the downtown Folly Beach area for dining, entertainment, and the beach!

The open floor plan allows for everyone to gather together for meals and easy conversation. The living room is a comfortable gathering space with plenty of ample seating. Play a board game or watch a movie on the large flat-screen TV complete with a cable package and streaming services on those rare rainy days. Living room leads out to the screen porch with ample seating where you'll enjoy watching the Lowcountry wildlife and the famous Folly sunsets over the river. The kitchen comes fully stocked and with everything you need to prepare meals for your group. All stainless steel appliances and updated cabinetry give this kitchen a clean, modern feel.

Wake up to the sunrise over Folly River in the King master bedroom. This bedroom has sliding door porch access, a walk-in closet, a flat-screen TV, and an en suite with a jetted tub for maximum relaxation. The Queen bedroom features a TV, a spacious closet, and access to a stand up shower bathroom. The third bedroom has double Twin beds and is perfect for the kids.

Check out the community pool and tennis courts for fun in the sun! The pool is available from April until mid-October. The beach and downtown Folly Beach areas are only a few minutes drive away, or you can take a stroll or bike ride just across the walking bridge to everything. The unique, downtown area of Folly Beach has beach shops, markets (select days of week), live music, and try one of our many local restaurants. Restaurants here offer everything from low country seafood to burgers and pizza to oceanfront, higher end dining. Folly Beach County Park on the West End of the island has restrooms and large beach area to spread out; which is a great location to enjoy your beach day! Visit the Morris Island Lighthouse beach on the far East End of the island that is absolutely photo-worthy. Downtown Charleston is also only a 20-25 minute drive, which offers world-class dining, historical tours, museums, boutiques, harbor walks along the water, the aquarium, and much more for added entertainment.

Parking is free for guests staying in the Mariners Cay complex. Parking passes will be provided as needed for up to 2 vehicles. Elevator and staircases allow for easy access up to the condo. This Unit is not ADA compliant. The HOA is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the elevators. Community pool typically opens April 1st and closes in October. The gated entrance provides security and safety. Full list of condo rules & policies is provided upon check-in.

Amenities include Wi-Fi, cable TV, free parking, Blue Ray DVD player, stackable washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances, Bosch tassimo coffee machine, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour maintenance emergency on-call staff. Home is non-smoking and non pet-friendly. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home which is 6 guests. Must be 25 years old or older to rent.

**HOUSE SUPPLIES**
This property is managed by a property management group. We provide a complimentary starter amenity kit to get you settled. Guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay.
Two rolls of paper towels, 1 sponge, 1 dishwashing liquid, 3 trash bags, 3 dishwasher tabs, and 2 kitchen towels in the kitchen. Each bathroom will have 2 toilet paper rolls and at least 1 bar of soap. Full bathrooms additionally include kits with travel size products: 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 lotion bottle, and 2 makeup wipes.

    The property was as listed. The view from the screened in balcony was beautiful and we saw dolphins playing during high tide. The view from the front door and 2 bedrooms also had nice views of the pond. I found the washrooms were small and the square toilets were awkward. It would have been great to have a full length mirror near the front door or somewhere in the unit. The space in the living room was large and fantastic to spread out. The kitchen and eating area worked well. The main bed was very comfortable as were the single beds. There was dog fur and hair on the sheets in the 2nd bedroom. We had a great vacation and felt safe and comfortable in the unit.

    Stayed with family for our anniversary. Our daughter is at CofC so she was able to enjoy it too. Close to a lot of things to see and great places to eat.

    The location and condo are great! I didn’t give it a perfect review because there is room for improvement. 1). It says that it sleeps 6 but it really only sleeps 5. One of the bedrooms has a full bed which is not ideal for two people to share so one of my teenage children had to sleep on the couch every night. It was frustrating and they didn’t sleep well as a result of this. 2). When we arrived, the gate wouldn’t open and we had to call and ask for help which took 15 minutes after driving 14 hours. Not ideal but it was resolved quickly. 3). The bedding is average at best. Very thin comforters and bad pillows. Bring your own, if you can. 4). The air conditioning vent in the room with the twin beds does not work do that room got very hot. Location is great, pool is fun, decor and cleanliness of the place is terrific. Folly Beach & Charleston is excellent! Great family friendly vacation spot.

    House keeping and pillows were way below average. Terrible dust on ceiling fans and bathroom exhaust fans. Kitchen was clean. Furnishing are a little tired. Pillows were very flat and had to be folded three times to make the thickness of a normal pillow.

    The house was great great location beautiful view! Only two things that were not huge but there were no hangers in any of the closets so I had to go buy hangers and the toaster doesn't work very well it takes several times to get it to keep the bread down. Other than that it was beautiful we enjoyed it and would love to come back again sometime.

    Hang on for this roller coaster… When pulling into the community, we got worried seeing all the construction. We were emailed that construction was happening after we booked the stay. Of course not thrilled about this. Who wants to spend their hard earned money on what they expect to be a peaceful beach vacation to listen to construction noises starting at 7:30 am and going into the evening? So we mentally prepare ourselves for this. We find the building. The elevator and walkway to the unit was littered with construction debris, plywood boards hiding some of the areas, and a few rogue nails on the ground. Had to call to get the door code, it was left out of the check in email and VRBO app. But quickly got some one on the line and got into the unit. But then… we walk into the unit and it was like walking into a completely different atmosphere. You open the door to a lovely and wonderfully decorated unit with an absolutely stunning view! Plenty of space for the whole family. Mattresses too firm for my liking, but the extremely comfortable couch made a good sleeping place. Fantastic kitchen! Had everything we needed for cooking. Would recommend some attention to the very very loud front door. I am an early riser and woke up my entire family when I attempted to leave the unit to go on a walk because the doors are so loud. Oh, and don’t run the dryer unless you are leaving the unit. Trust me unless you would like to listen to a terrible hour long squealing sound. Loved the location! So close to the beach. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, once construction is done.

    Was very disappointed they we were unable to use the balcony. But do understand it was a safety issue with the structure of the building. All in all it was a great place
