1-Bedroom Unit With Convenient Access to the Pool and Beach

This was our second time in Cozumel. First time at this condo. Since the first day we arrived the manager Alex was extremely accommodating from grocery deliveries to car rentals. The property was beautiful and everyone was very friendly! I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

We've stayed at several condos in Residencias Reef, and now have a new favorite. It's a perfect size for two - with a large living area, bedroom and bath. We really appreciated the attention to detail and having everything at our fingertips (extra large bottles of water, detergent, plenty of towels, etc.). Alex, the property manager checked in with us and was always available when we had questions. The back patio with views of the pool and ocean was large enough for us to do our morning yoga before heading out to scuba dive. We highly recommend this property!

The condo was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed. We didn’t have any issues with the washer / dryer like other reviews have stated ( washer / dryer looks brand new). A short walk to the beach and there’s great snorkeling right in front of the condos that are beach front. We’re definitely going to visit again.

The complex was quiet, secure, well maintained with courteous & helpful staff. Perfectly located a short drive away from the bustle of town. Being right on the beach with snorkeling, two pools and beach chairs, made it easy to stay home. The daily trip to one of the many beach bars nearby provided great variety. Spectacular sunsets. We did a mix of self catering and eating out. Comfortable, well equipped home with good wifi and TV access. Thanks for a truly relaxing week!!

We've been to Cozumel a dozen times. We've stayed in hotels and condos and I think this unit is my favorite. It takes about 90 seconds to walk to the beach. The snorkeling in the 50 feet off shore from that beach is good. If you're a little ambitious you can snorkel about 300' North (still only about 50-60 feet offshore) and see lots and lots of fish under the pier. It's also shallow, less than 5 feet deep for most of it. And if you're up for some adventure you can snorkel about a half mile North (about 50 feet offshore the whole trip) to a concrete pier and see a little of everything along the way. I am old and not in great shape and I loved it. Great photos and videos. Pro tip: stop by the store and get Romain lettuce to feed the fish. They go insane. Thank me later for the great photos you'll take. The condo is exactly as advertised. Very comfortable. The bed is perfect. There is an abundance of towels. This isn't always true in some of these beach properties and we were very appreciative. The wifi worked well and was reliable. Something you shouldn't take for granted on the island. One negative: don't plan to wash clothes, the washer just isn't reliable. It looks new, but it doesn't work reliably. We like to travel light and wash clothes. Not a good plan here. Note: the dryer worked well. Anytime it's just the wife and I we'll definitely go back to this unit. I recommend it.

Everything was great from the staff at security entrance to the rest of the staff that helped make the stay very enjoyable. The condo was in a very good location within the property.

We love Residencias Reef, but this was our first time staying at Casa Sharona. We loved the first floor (kids got to run in and out easily) and the condo was well appointed. The bed is super comfy, the sofas too. Towels and linens were of great quality and we had enough beach towels for everyone. If privacy is an issue, 1st floor might not be your best bet, but we didn't mind (it's mostly traffic from other 1st floor condos on the same block). The beach is amazing, lots of fishes to see while out snorkelling. The staff at this condo complex is amazingly friendly and work non stop! Beautifully maintained gardens, pool area is always clean, beach is raked daily. All in all, a great choice!

This was my 10th time to the Island and my 3rd time staying at the Reef Residences complex. I visit to scuba dive and enjoy all that Cozumel has to offer. I wanted someone to join me this time so they could learn to dive, and this unit was available and what I wanted, so I booked it. Let me start by saying that it's clear the owners take pride in this unit and want to make the stay as great as possible. I would not hesitate to book it again. Alex, the property manager, stopped by on the first evening and ensured we knew how to use everything and that we had all we needed. He actually recognized me from previous trips and when he knew I was familiar with the island, he left us to have a quiet evening. The condo is well-stocked with all the basics one would need for a week stay, from towels and blankets and linens, to all that is included in the kitchen area to prepare your meals and snacks. The kitchen appliances seem pretty new and once you do translation and understand the symbols, they work great. The unit has a brand new, very comfortable bed, and recently the Internet service / speed was upgraded and DirecTV Now, with HBO, is available via an Apple TV. I did have one issue at the end that spoiled the last day. Apparently, the washing machine has problems sometimes. Alex showed me how to use it, and previously in the week I had run a load just fine. But on the last day, after I loaded my clothes in and they had soap all over them, the washer wouldn’t start. I did everything possible to get it to start over the course of a few hours, including downloading the manual from the Internet (!) to make sure I was using it correctly. With clothes in it, it just wouldn’t start. I had to resort to standing in a cold shower and manually washing my clothes to get the soap out. When Alex came by again the next day right before I left, I went over it with him. It did start then in front of him – but only when it was empty! Hand washing my clothes wasn’t how I intended to finish my trip and it made for a less than stellar evening. Overall this is a great unit and if a ‘take care of yourself condo’ is what you are looking for in Cozumel (as opposed to a hotel, all-inclusive type place), I highly recommend it.

Very nice location and the unit was well equipped and very comfortable. Nice size. We did have a few problems with the washer and dryer not working later in the week. the team got it fixed in a couple of hours. And then the last night we lost hot water and Air conditioning, which was bit of an issue. but overall, would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a nice stay in Cozumel.
