Spectacular elegant and cozy townhouse in Sa Pobla, prepared for up to 8 persons. It is situated in the center of the town Sa Pobla, only 200m from the main square, known for its great atmosphere, tapas and local cuisine. Villa Ca na Marrona is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday, at just 11 km from the famous beaches of Alcudia and Pollensa and, also, very close to the Tramuntana mountains.

The recently reformed townhouse is distributed in 3 floors, with 2 mezzanines. With place for 8 persons and its' spacious and comfortable rooms, the house has all the services you need: pool, solarium, all 4 rooms with Smart TV (two of them with an en-suite bathroom), two independent shower rooms, a big kitchen, dining room, washing machine, air conditioning, etc.

There is an incredible view on the bell tower of the ancient church of Sant Antoni Abat, from the superior room, which transmits the sensation of the Mediterranean villas as at the Spanish coast, Tuscany, Venice etc.

As we enter the house through the hall, we find the first bedroom, with two double beds, before entering the elegant living room. The living room counts with two sofas and satellite TV. From the living room, we can access the patio, the dining room or the stairs to the bedrooms.

The approx. 18m long patio presents a private 6m x 3m chlorine pool, an exterior shower, 4 sunbeds, a dining table and a barbecue, to prepare delicious outdoor dinners with your friends or family.

The living room also leads to the dining room, with a large round table, and the kitchen, which counts with a dishwasher, an electric oven, an induction hob, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster and all other necessary utensils to prepare a great meal. On the ground floor, there are two bath rooms with a shower, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine and an iron.

Up the stairs, on the first mezzanine, we find a second bed room, with two individual beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and a dressing room. 4 more steps lead us to a hall with 3 wardrobes, a bathroom with a shower room and a bed room with two individual beds and a dressing room. The last door opens up to the last staircase, with a spacious shower- and dressing room on the mezzanine and a romantic double bedroom under the rooftop, with view on the church’s bell-tower.

The house doesn´t have a private parking but you can park free of charge in the streets of the town.

All bedrooms count with Smart-TV and air conditioning.

Gastronomy is the great strength of this ancient and cosmopolitan town with its warm welcoming people.

Every night during the month of July, there are free Jazz concerts on the village square. On Mondays they are international musicians. On Sundays you can enjoy a great agricultural market in the center of the village and on Wednesday its special tapas night.

When we arrived the house was very hot and the air conditioning was not working. We finally reached someone to help but they could not come until the following day so we had a very very uncomfortable start to our trip. The company was not willing to compensate or help us - most of us were unable to sleep at all due to the heat. The house is comfortable when the air conditioning is working however there are not enough glasses or cutlery or cookware. We found ourselves sharing glasses/cutlery and washing up constantly in order to cater for our group. The streets are very narrow and a little confusing to get to the house, parking is a 15-20 minute walk - we didn’t mind this but important to be aware. The pool is lovely and well-cared for. The top floor is more suitable for short people as we kept hitting our heads on beams and ceiling. We felt there could have been better communication with a welcome book or information onsite - we couldn’t’ find anything there that explained about the complicated rubbish system or the local area. The town is really quaint and very Spanish. We enjoyed being in Sa Pobla but it is not very touristy - which we loved. Whilst we loved our stay once the air conditioning was repaired, we felt the rental company was there to make money for the owner and not necessarily to support the visitor.

The house is beautiful - the description and pictures were matching. You probably arrive by car, and free parking is nearby just down the road. Locals are very patient when you need to load/unload in front of the house and they cannot pass. Across the backyard of the house is a half finished house - we didn‘t have problems with it, but just ask the owner when there will be construction. We would have given it a 5star rating, but deduct one point because at arrival the house was not cleaned - ok can happen during busy times. But worse, 3 out of the 5 airco‘s malfunctioned from day one. It got fixed temporarily the next day. Service recovery was quick but it should not have happened in the first place if the aircos were maintained properly. In total this wasted an evening and a morning for which we put forward a refund claim. On the phone we were offered a refund but we didn‘t get the confirmation in writing as I was asking for.
