Stayed Dec 21, 2025Everything was amazingly big but host was above and beyond better than any host we have had in staying away!!! The Chalet was super clean she had all supplies you would need to cook, back, ect. The hidden club house was great too. Only think I would suggest if you are there in bad weather throw in couple adult games she’s got many for the kids!! I would absolutely stay again I didn’t even mind we were there in the winter. She decorated the chalet for us. It was so beautiful!! I cannot say enough good about loreen, chalet and area. It was def All the way. Thank you for being so kind & helpful. Stayed Nov 23, 2025The house was perfectly clean when we arrived, Loreen is a great communicator and makes sure you have everything - and I mean everything! - in the house (firewood, starters, spices, pots/pans, so many coffee makers, blankets, towels, etc). It was a true vacation stay! Would 110% return and recommend - and can’t wait to!

Stayed Jan 16, 2025The Chalet was such an amazing place to stay. It was a hidden jam in the middle of the Poconos, and I felt like I was transported to another country. Just three hours from home and I felt so at peace. Anything and everything you want was in the chalet. We didn’t have to leave for anything. It was the perfect vacation. And Loreen is the best host. I had a few questions and she answered almost instantly.! I can’t wait to stay here again

Stayed Aug 8, 2024From initial booking Laureen was in contact inquiring about the group. She noted all safety measures as we have 3 young children. She even purchased a gate to keep the kids from hurting themselves on her fireplace which we were happy to bring ourselves but she was so accommodating. The house is great we adults were very comfortable and kids were entertained the whole time. Played some golf, went to beach at lake really took advantage of all amenities. There was a minor hiccup with one of the tv’s and she was responsive and helpful. She really made us feel at home! Absolute best vacation with young kids and amazing host!

Stayed Apr 8, 2022From the beginning to the end of the stay, the process was seemless. My family stayed in the property close to our home and loved every minute of it. The owner made sure to make everyone comfortable and even came earlier prior to my family arriving to turn the heat up for their comfort. Highly suggest this for anybody to stay in The Hideout.
