This was the best disconnect from the world place! My phone was dead and with no electricity and no one to bug me I loved every minute! The book selection was awesome. The trail was great. It was so peaceful. Definitely on my list to stay here again- hopefully next time I can see the northern lights.

We had a magical one night stay at Little Bear! It's a charming little cabin that is lovingly maintained. The grounds a beautiful and we especially loved paddling the creek in the kayaks! Make sure to bring a flashlight and a sleep mask, as there are no shades on the windows. Our only regret was not staying longer!

We stayed in the Little Bear Cabin early July 2025. Two of us in our 50's and the other two in their 70's. I much preferred this cabin than having to bring everything for a Public Use Cabin. The four of us slept great both nights. We we glad to have the french press and water kettle to make coffee every morning while playing the cabin's scrabble game. My husband and I used the nice kayaks that are located on the bridge to paddle upstream and then float back down to the bridge. The stream has a slow easy current, is full of beautiful lili pads and we saw a super cute river otter! Shelley was a great communicator and we appreciate her letting us stay in her cabin.

Very cute cabin in the heart of Alaska. I loved the wood stove and how cozy it was. Looking forward to another stay there. 10 out of 10.

Small, quite cabin that is perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle. About an hour or so north of Wassila and 30 minutes from Talkeetna is was a great spot to stop and sleep along our way to camping Denali.

It was a cute little cabin in a quiet area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. I didn't realize it didn't have power but didn't change my opinion of the it. I would definately stay there again.
