This property worked great for us. It had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the view of the mountains from the dining windows.
Cabin was very nice and worked well for 4 adults. Nice that it is away from town but easy to access town and the park entrances. Would be nice to have a more complete list of what is provided - virtually all kitchen needs are there, hair driers, etc. Only problem we had were TVs not working - for us not a big problem but with children might be an issue.
We loved the view from the dining area. The cabin/house worked great for us.
This was a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Deer visited the yard every evening. The kitchen had all the cookware and appliances we needed to prepare our family's Thanksgiving dinner. Beds were very comfortable and the big soaking tub was perfect following a day hiking in the snow.
Loved the location n a quiet neighborhood with amazing views yet a mere 10 minute drive from downtown. Tastefully and cozily decorated yet didn’t got you over the head with an antler vibe. There are two bedrooms a full bathroom and a sitting room on the walkout lower lever so we thought this might be good for a family with someone with limited mobility. You can pull your car into the driveway and enter the lower level with just one small step. The upper level had a large bedroom with private deck, a full bathroom, kitchen, dining space and large sitting room with deck attached. Just a terrific experience here with management checking in regularly to be sure everything was going well. We would certainly return to this property again.
Everything was great - well stocked and very convenient to Estes town and rmnp!! Would recommend
We had a wonderful stay! Clean, cozy and great location. Our son now refers to it as our mountain house. We will be back!
Our family of four, including 2 teenagers, just returned from a wonderful 4 days at this home. The size of the house was perfect for our family as our girls enjoyed each having their own bedrooms. We have a great movie night in the basement, played cards, cooked our own Thanksgiving dinner, and loved looking out at the stars. The location was perfect as it provided a quick drive to a great hike, and a short drive into town.
Less than 10 minutes from RMNP and downtown Estes Park.
The first thing I and my daughter's family did before unloading our luggage was sit on the upper deck and take in the awesome mountain views. That evening I went out on the back deck when all outside lights were to be off (Estes Park is a dark night sky community.) I have never seen so many stars so clearly before in all my 85 years. Just breath taking. I encourage all oldsters to take the easy walks around several lakes in the Rocky Mountain National Park. My favorite: Bear Lake. Numerous benches along the trail encouraged me to stop and smell the roses (pines.) When my family went on all day serious hiking adventures, I enjoyed taking walks around the neighborhood. I was sure to take along bottled water because of the high altitude. When I would return, I would sit on the swing under the upper deck where it was cooler...have a cup of tea and read, occasionally looking up to remind me of where I was. This home has a number of spaces for everyone to do his/her thing at the same time. Some would watch a movie downstairs while some would play cards upstairs , and others would be sitting outside on the decks and lower patio. The cabin was great place to come home to after a busy day exploring the National Park or shopping and eating in Estes Park. The free Estes Park bus service throughout the downtown and beyond was a pleasant surprise. The Estes Park Information Center is a great resource for what to do and where to go, especially if you didn't come with a guidebook. The Sunshine Cabin is a five star rental in every aspect: clean, well appointed, quality furnishings, perfect location. Loved every minute there.
Great location, comfortable, clean, well maintained. Had everything we wanted. The TV downstairs didn’t work, but we never needed it. Would go back again.
Great cabin for our family of 5. The property was clean and well stocked. The location was great—quiet neighborhood with some nice views (as well as some up close views of local wildlife), and only a few minutes from downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in Estes Park.
Lovely property! Very clean! The beds were very comfortable! The best we had on our 10 day road trip. I felt the property was even better than shown in the online photos. Would come back here.
The house has a great layout and well appointed decor. The home was immaculate and we had all the needed supplies. This was one of the best homes we have stayed in.
Loved the property! The mattresses and pillows could have been better. We all struggled with discomfort and sleep.
Excellent cabin very clean, a little out of way from shopping and food from down town Estes but within reason. Cabin had great furniture, bathrooms and kitchen. We used the grill on deck with good outdoor furniture and great views of mountains.
