Wonderfall Cottage | Beautiful Home & Carriage House with Waterfall & Dramatic Mountain Views

This is a wonderful location! Very easily accessible to downtown but you feel tucked into the mountains. It is peaceful, quiet and has a well maintained outdoor space. It is in the mountains so you do need to be prepared that bugs get inside etc, but overall it was very clean. Kitchen could use a few more cookware pieces but we managed to cook several meals without much difficulty. Would definitely recommend.

The house was great and the setting was beautiful. The house was clean and very well appointed.....All the furniture and beds were very comfortable and nice looking. The fireplace was an added bonus and worked beautifully. I would definitely rent this property again.

Needed a place close to downtown for our family. We were in town for a family wedding. Wonderfall Cottage was perfect. Morning coffee at the waterfall watching the sun come up over the mountain was so beautiful. Communication with property manager and maintenance guy was easy and timely. The lavender pillow spray was a nice added touch. The town of Highland and Wonderfall Cottage are definitely a hidden gems. Thank you letting us stay.

PROS: 1) The view from the front porch is beautiful. 2) The waterfall is lovely to listen to from the screened-in porch and master bedroom. 3) The kitchen is nicely updated and well equipped. 4) The house lay-out is nice for a family. It has two bedrooms on one side of the living space and the master on the opposite side. CONS: 1) There is no cell service from this house. My husband and I have two different carriers - Verizon and AT&T and we had no bars with either. For some this might be a positive. 2) The water heater went out overnight and I called the maintenance person listed on the materials we were provided upon check-in. He said he would be out early to mid afternoon. He never showed. After a second call he came midday the following day. Not a huge inconvenience, but we did not get to shower before heading into town for dinner or the following morning. 3) The guest house is tiny and smells moldy. We had contemplated inviting another couple to join us, but glad we did not.

This is the perfect mountain get away home. Waterfall outside the house. Beautiful sunrise views. 5 min from downtown highlands. The house is great plenty of room for a family or group of friends.

Great place to relax with girlfriends and celebrate a birthday. So many great gathering spaces.

We spent a girls weekend at this cottage and enjoyed it immensely. The location is quiet and beautiful, yet a close enough drive to downtown Highlands. The home was beautifully maintained and well stocked with everything we needed.

I called the morning that we were to leave and wanted to extend our stay. The team was great and made it happen!
