The cabin is well off the beaten path surrounded by beautiful wilderness views. The accommodations are great - we took advantage of the living area just hanging out playing card games and munching on junk food. The internet is slow, but it was sufficient for what we needed. The place was clean and plenty spacious enough for our group of four adult men. Highly recommend

The cabin was very clean when we arrived, it had everything we needed to cook meals, charcoal for the grill and a fire already made and ready to go! The property was private and quiet, just what we were looking for! Great Stay

My family stayed 7 nights here. This place is exactly as described and pictures are acurate. First thing we noticed is the quiet atmosphere when we arrived. There are neighbors on both sides but one was vacant all week and the other was there but were quiet and respectful. There is also a privacy fence between the property so we didnt see them at all. The house is practically new. Updated and new appliances. Your basic needs are taken care of. Smart TV in living room with descent wifi. Front porch is covered and so nice to just sit and listen to the wildlife. We had a few bonfires at night, it was a great time. The owner (Dan) was polite, attentive and made sure that we knew he was just down the road if we needed anything. He came by a few times to take away the trash from the outdoor bin that was provided. The property is about 20 minutes east of Manistee, but Wellston is only 5 minutes away if you needed to pick up something from the store. Manistee has fantastic beaches and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. We really enjoyed our stay, it was nice to slow down and rest from the hustle of life. Would reccomend! Thank you Dan!

Secluded location in the Manistee national forest that was well kept. salmon fishing was the purpose for our VRBO. good tv and service for college football Saturday and big front porch was accommodating for leaving our gear. location is about 5-10min drive south of Highbridge and US55 to head to north side of Manistee river.
