Whiskey Hill Cabin a mountain escape in Virginia wine country

We stayed at Whiskey Hill for a combo Mom’s getaway and a friends birthday. It was exactly what we needed. Quiet, lots of beautiful scenery and just relaxing! The beds were great. The kitchen had everything we needed. The instructions of everything were spot on. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!

Our brief stay at Whiskey Hill Cabin was lovely. We had all the comforts we needed for our group of 4. It offers a mountain cabin experience within a short drive of many activities, restaurants, amenities. Our time did not have room for a vineyard experience but we certainly enjoyed Lands Run Falls, Vibrissa Beer & Kitchen, Spelunkers, Skyline Drive at Sunnset, and Skyline Caverns. An absolute must do for fellow travelers is The Apple House - what a gem. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us!

Our stay at the Whiskey Hill Cabin was lovely! Charming cabin, cozy seating for afternoons by the fire with a good book, well organized kitchen, great deck to enjoy the last days of autumn! Would definitely come back!

Our entire experience with this rental was exceptional. The owners, Rachelle & Don, messaged me several times prior to our stay with all the information we’d need for our stay. Their suggestions and recommendations were great and we enjoyed the wineries we visited. The cabin was perfect for our girls getaway. The beds were comfy, the family room was comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this cabin and would love to visit again. Five star review all-around!!

We had a wonderful stay at Whiskey Hill Cabin, which was close to all the things we wanted to see including wineries, Skyline Drive, fall leaf viewing in Shenandoah National Park, and the nearby historic towns of Front Royal and Winchester. The cabin itself was cozy, immaculate, and well appointed. The owners did a great job of communicating and it made for an easy arrival and stay. Highlights for us included building fires in the wood burning stove, which was better than a fireplace, bring visited by two curious does, and just the wonderful serenity of the place nestled on the mountainside overlooking the beautiful Shenandoah River valley.

Cabin was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The Welcome bag was a nice surprise!

Fantastic comfortable cabin in the woods ! Everything we could have needed and more . Very comfortable beds , very clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed quiet mornings on the deck , loved loved Fox Meadows winery - just a few miles from the cabin . The owners were very responsive and gave great suggestions for things to do and places to eat and drink . We enjoyed hiking in Shenandoah during the day , winery in afternoon after a hike and quiet evening on the cabin. Highly recommend !!

The Whiskey Hill Cabin was everything we could have asked for! We were close to wineries and Shenandoah National Park. The cabin was cozy and well stocked with everything you could need. We would definitely stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Whiskey Hill Cabin! The location was so peaceful and quiet and the cabin was beautiful and very comfortable. It's located in a very beautiful part of Virginia. We were able to visit an apple orchard and a winery and a distillery! We would definitely love to stay there again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We loved our stay in the forest, it's nice that there are other houses around but at the same time it feels completely secluded. The cabin is gorgeous and we loved hanging out on the porch! The sheets were super soft, water pressure was good, everything was super clean and well taken care of.Some tiny suggestions for improvement that would level up the experience to 6 stars if that was an option: upgrade the 1 ply cheap toiletpaper, add nice pump soap instead of a packaged bar, add one tide pod for a quick laundryThis didn't make our experience any less but would be that little extra cherry on the cake. Great cabin either way!

A really nice two day getaway. The Appalachian Trail is easily accessed from the top of Rocky Spring Rd. Directions were excellent; cabin was cleaned and everything well labeled for visitors.

We had an incredible time!The cabin was amazing! It was honestly better than what the pictures even showed! And communication with the owners was great! My husband and I plan on going back very soon! To be honest, my husband and I could just live there!It was super quiet! The cabin is well taken care of and was super clean! You could tell the owners value their cabin and made everything super easy for us! Beautiful place! We would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway!!!

The house was well designed and stocked. The space was cozy and secluded, perfect for a quiet weekend getaway.

What a fantastic place to get away from it all! All the basics were there and in great condition. The cabin is well maintained and is very easy to relax in because it is not cluttered or filled to the brim with stuff. The neighborhood is quiet, and the drive to Linden or Front Royal is short. However, the house is so nice that leaving is hard!

Very nice relaxing getaway, quite how do you spell quiet and serene location.

The property was clean, quaint, and relaxing for our girls weekend getaway. We enjoyed the peace of the cabin, wildlife, and seclusion it offered. The drive to Shenandoah national park was very quick and the views amazing!

This beautiful cabin has everything you need for a wonderful stay. My husband and I stayed here for our 44th anniversary while visiting local wineries. It was a perfect location.

Great owners who communicated very well and timely.This precious cabin is tucked in the Shenandoah mountains & is very quiet, clean and such a lovely place located by great local wineries and eateries with beautiful scenery & mountain views, The wood-burning stove was an added bonus. We all are very happy with our experience and time here(3 nights). This cabin is also very well furnished, new, very clean, and has all the necessities.We highly recommend it and it fits four people perfectly. :)

Whisky Hill is an amazing cabin. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean, and had everything we needed. It was not difficult at all to find. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and can’t wait to be back. It was a great find!! Highly recommend if coming to the Linden area.

Cozy little cabin perfect for a girls getaway to Middleburg.

The cabin is beautiful and tucked away in the trees. Amazing colors this time of year and was such a great little getaway. Highly recommend staying here!

Fabulous and absolutely beautiful cabin. Everything in the cabin had great details to the cutting board and wine opener. The owners were spectacular with communicating. My girlfriends and I were celebrating our birthdays as Libras an annual trip. We had an amazing time!

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a very cute little cottage, nicely decorated and extremely clean. Beautiful wooded and peaceful surroundings with some terrific vineyards near by. Highly recommend for a friends trip.

My wife and I enjoyed staying in this cozy well kept cabin. We are from Pennsylvania and the beauty of the area along with the cabin was perfect. Everything was clean and neat in the cabin and we loved the bottle of wine they provided us with. We def recommend and will be back sometime in the fall or winter in the future. 5 stars all around

We had an excellent 4-night stay at Rachelle and Don's cabin. They were good communicators and eager to please. The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable with a modern vibe. We loved how quiet it was. The large elevated deck overlooking the woods was great for enjoying our morning coffee and having dinner and a drink. It's close to local hiking and not far from a nice small town and Shenandoah National Park, etc. We would definitely recommended this cabin (and we'll be back).
