Highly recommend staying here, it was so cute. 10/10. Within walking distance of literally everything. We parked the car and didn’t get back in until we were ready to head home. We will be back!

Great location centered between N and S Main in Helen. Somewhat secluded from other tourists, and quiet enough at night since there is only one other hotel across the street. The hosts are great and more than hospitable and also run a great caramel corn shop down the way. The only a couple of real downsides: one is no kitchen, and the other is tons of light from having no curtains.

Location was perfect to walk to everything that you wanted to do in town and you can walk downstairs and have a beer and a bratwurst. Also has the balcony that you can chill on at night and relax great for a couple or just a single person want to get out and relax

Overall a great trip. Wonderful location, studio was very cute, bed felt more like a Full than a Queen, though.

The location was perfect. The cabin was just perfect for 2 people. Clean and convenient. Loved the availability to have a snack and or a beer just below. I would love to have some toiletries available in the cabin like soap. But love the coffee and condiments at my disposal. The champagne eas a very nice gesture. I would love to come back to this location. Host was prompt and courteous.

This unit is very charming and the location is great! We were able to walk everywhere in town. The unit is spacious and has ample space. There is an apartment size fridge and Keurig coffee maker. There is a dining table and then full living area. There is also a washer/dryer in the unit. The hosts left us a mini bottle of Prosecco and chilled glasses which was a super nice treat. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent. The room is extremely comfortable and the balcony is a nice touch. The dedicated parking spot proved to be both convenient and valuable in this popular tourist destination.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Great location and cozy space. We were shocked to find that there was no bath soap, only liquid hand soap on the sink, hair in the shower, and a red sign on the toilet tank directing everyone to dispose of tissue, etc. in the trash and not to flush. There was no sink, except in the bathroom, which made filling the coffee maker a bit difficult. As for the location, it was fantastic, unless outside noise and light bother you. The room was never “dark” as the outside lights of the business below were on all night.

We could not have picked a better spot. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. The cabin is not large, but it’s perfect for two people. The cabin was very clean and the owners were very responsive to any concerns or requests we might have had. You won’t be disappointed this was a great get away location.

The location is fantastic and the chalet was spotlessly clean. There were plenty of nice, thick towels, etc., and the hostess even left us a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary, which was so nice and thoughtful! We also had our own private parking just steps from the door. Also, after a full day of tubing and walking, we were too tired to go out for dinner, so it was perfect that we were staying above the best “dogs and beer” in town! Dinner was divine! Our only suggestion is to take a sleep mask, because it’s bright in there all night long, due to streetlights being all around, plus the sun hits those mini blinds bright and early! Some small blackout curtains could easily alleviate the problem and make the stay 100% perfect-o!! We loved our time in Helen very much and look forward to another visit to Chalet Munich!

Overall, we enjoyed this location a lot. It was in a prime location and easy to access. The bar downstairs was also super neat with a kind staff.

Perfect location, loved the room!

It's a beautiful spot, above a shop with amazing staff, (shout out to Johann, Sara and Alex) and by far the best pretzels in Helen. Everything is a short walk and if your a people watcher, sitting out on the balcony will be your thing. Absolutely loved our stay and we will be choosing our dates to visit Helen based upon the availability of the Chalet Munich. Thank you Bruce and Christy.

Stayed 2 nights and couldn't beat the location. The rental was cute and clean. Great communication from the property owners. Would look to stay again on our next trip to Helen, if available.

The room is conveniently located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.

Check-in was seamless, and the room was well kept. The location makes access to most of Helen easily accessible on foot, which we loved. Considering the surroundings, the location was decently quiet for the most part. Would definitely stay here again if given the option.

Amenities were exactly as billed. Right in the heart of Helen. Great experience. Don’t be afraid to try out this property.

The location is perfect for walking the town and not worry about parking! The place is cute and perfect for our little get away! Will differently book again!

We were just looking to get away for a short little road trip to Helen, GA. This rental was a great location. We did experience a few minor issues, but the owner was quick to respond and do what he could to remedy them. This rental was within an easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Helen. There are some bright decorative lights that stay on all night, so you may want to bring an eye mask.

Our overall impression was very satisfactory. Rental was clean and very nicely decorated. Bruce and Christy were very attentive. Definitely would recommend. Rental was in a great location.

Super cute place . The bed was very uncomfortable we left a day early due to not being able to get a good night sleep . The place had a musky smell with dust on top of the bed and under the bed so the unit was not completely clean . Take your own shower soap for there was none provided only shampoo, condition and makeup remover . But the town of Helen was beautiful with all the Christmas decoration.

What a great visit! This quaint loft smack dab in the middle of Helen is perfect. Easy walking distance to everything, clean rental, great communication with the property owner, all make for a magic visit. Highlighted by the Oktoberfest activities, this was a perfect visit to Bavarian Helen.

The chalet was exactly like the pictures on VRBO. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Suggest as others have, install black out shades or curtains to the front windows as the lights stay on all night outside.10+rate

We stayed here to enjoy their October fest which was canceled due to hurricane Helene. We still enjoyed walking around Helen in the rain . We wish there was a kitchen sink and some kitchen supplies utensils and plates and bowls, but everything else was exactly as advertised.

Waking up each morning and having a delightful store right below us was a dream come true—don’t miss the cinnamon pretzel; it's a must-try! The location is simply perfect, allowing us to stroll through the picturesque town with ease. We enjoyed exploring the local shops and cafes, soaking in the vibrant community. Every corner held a new adventure, making our stay even more memorable. We can't recommend this chalet enough and are already looking forward to our next visit. It's the perfect getaway for anyone seeking relaxation, charm, and a taste of local culture!

Absolutely loved our stay! The room was decorated perfectly with all the right touches. We especially loved all the big wood furniture. The bed with the closet built in was great. If we visit Helen again this will definitely be a go to for us. Thank you for your hospitality!!

Easy check in, clean quant little room.

Cute and cozy space convenient to everything. Just what we were looking for to spend a quick weekend away with just the 2 of us for our 5 year anniversary. Will definitely book again!

Property was very well centered to town and close to a lot of the local shops. It was nice being able to walk to most places. The lights on the front at night weren’t a problem for us but definitely made the room not as dark at night

What a charming place to stay. The living space was big & roomy. Bathroom was a little small. Bed was comfortable. Nice having a washer & dryer. Met the owners Bruce & Christy who were busy working their shops Christoff's. Perfect location just off the beaten path. There's a parking space too. Downtown is steps away. Just a note, even with blinds shut, because of outdoor lights, the room doesn't get very dark for sleeping. Our 1st time visiting Helen GA and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.
