High Hemlock is as described-very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was even decorated for the holidays. Fun to sit by the fire at night with the Christmas tree lights on. We love the location close to town. Can't wait to visit again.

We have been booking High Hemlock twice a year for quite some time now. We have been there in every season. It never disappoints.

We had a lovely time at High Hemlock, the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind over Fall Break. The cottage is cozy, clean and nicely appointed. The living room by the fire was our favorite spot while at the cottage, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy family time.

The fourth time we’ve stayed at High Hemlock, our favorite place in Highlands to lodge, and it never fails to deliver! Well-stocked with amenities, easily walkable to downtown, and yet isolated with numerous trees, it continues to be a wonderful respite from a busy life. We wouldn’t change a thing and can’t wait to come back to this rejuvenating mountain escape!

We have stayed in an elevate highlands property many times. Nothing compares. It’s incredible!

So many wonderful things to say about this cabin! Cozy and comfortable, extremely well appointed, private fenced in yard, relaxing front porch with rocking chairs to relax in, within walking distance of downtown Highlands, Harris Lake, the Center for Life Enrichment, Founders Park, the Recreation Center. Chamber of Commerce outdoor concerts most Friday and Saturday evenings, fabulous restaurants, a plethora of hiking opportunities of different levels! Too many great attributes to list! Most importantly, Kristy is a wonderful rental agent who really cares about her tenants and is very responsive!

We had a really nice stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. Great location to walk to town and our dogs loved it. Would be nice if they had a few more amenities in the kitchen-olive olive oil, some more kitchen towels, more than one Tupperware container but overall was a great stay. Check in and out were easy.

My family and I completely enjoyed our stay at High Hemlock. The beds were so comfortable and the leather chairs in the living room were perfect for reading throughout the rainy day. The location couldn't be more perfectly situated to town. We were able to walk to town daily and around Harris Lake with our pups. Will definitely check High Hemlock's availability the next time we are in Highlands!

This was our second time at High Hemlock, and it was even better than the first! It now has two king beds, which was fantastic, and they are so comfortable. The cabin is the perfect size and in a wonderful location. We can't wait to return!

This is our 4th time to rent through Elevate Vacation Rentals and it always exceeds our expectations. Why rent a room when you can have so much more! High Hemlock is our go to place to get away but also be close to town. Kristy has a gift of furnishing her cabins so beautifully. It has everything you need ... new appliances, wood burning fireplace... and the best mattresses for mountain sleeping and no road noise! We can't wait to come back again!

We spend our birthdays at High Hemlock. One in the winter. One in the summer. It’s a special place for us. Kristy is an awesome host and takes good care of us. The house is beautiful. Kristy keeps it updated but it still feels like the same cabin that we love.

We took our pups up for a weekend to see the snow. Gorgeous and cozy cabin! Loved the large fenced in yard and our pups loved playing in the snow. Furniture is all very comfy and kitchen was great and fully stocked. We will definitely rent from Kristy again!

We've visited at High Hemlock many times. Return for the casual comfort, stay-in amenities and great location for walking to town. Love the fenced in yard. Highly recommended.

We had a perfect weekend getaway at High Hemlock. The cabin was comfortable and cozy - a great retreat after full days of hiking, drinking wine downtown and exploring. We loved showing off Highlands to our friends and can't wait for our next stay with Kristy and Elevate!

We could not love this house more. It was perfect for our family of four with two king beds and ample space. Our goldendoodle loved the fence yard and so did the kids. It was also a short walk to the town and everything in Highlands. The decor is perfect for a cabin setting and very comfortable. Beautiful tree coverage in the yard. We will definitely be coming back!

This is our sixth year of renting at high Hemlock. Each year we’ve added onto our stay and this year we stayed for a month with our two small dogs. We love the location, which is a short walking distance Into town as well As the privacy of the lot surrounded by hemlock trees, as well as a lot of other natural landscaping Kristy’s decorating is spot on for an upscale mountain cabin and she continues to add things every year, which make it better and better.

We had the best weekend at High Hemlock. It was clean and super cute. It was very close to downtown and we loved the fenced in yard. Kristy was great to work with. We will be back!!!
