Updated Strawberry Family Cabin w/ 2 Private Decks

We just loved everything. So relaxing. With a little guidance, we were able to see some elk, including some babies with momma. Found place well stocked, clean, and so peaceful.

I loved this Cabin, Denise’s details makes you feel welcome, I enjoy going for a walk in the mornings, we got to see Elks, Javalinas and a wild cat. We really enjoyed it, we definately will stay there again. Thank you, Maria

Cabin was great and close to everything we needed for a wedding we were attending. Host was very accommodating and we enjoyed a stay. Will return again.

My husband, myself and my two dogs needed a break from the heat and this was just the spot! It was about 2 hours from the west side of the city. The drive was short, and it was amazing to be in the middle of pine trees and 30 degrees cooler. The cabin was cozy, clean and fully stocked. The backyard was fenced so my two large dogs could run around. They got a surprise when they discovered an elk in the backyard though. After some barking, the elk jumped over the fence to the front yard and grazed on the grass. We had a relaxing time, even spent sometime in the backyard hammock. We hope to return!

Cabin was beautiful and fully equipped with everything imaginable. GREAT location to town, Pine and Payson; even took side trips to Winslow, Holbrok and Overgaard. The property was spacious and so relaxing - too many pines to count. We were lucky to be visited by two local young deer, and they stayed as my wife serenaded them, from the front porch. The back deck was perfect for an early am coffee - cool, fresh mountain air. Had to make a quick health check at the local FD and the Strawberry-Pine FD was professional and personable. Finally, our host, Denise, she is a gem! Great communication, immediate replies, knowledgeable about the area and extremely accommodating. Can't wait to go back to this wonderful location (that is until we find our own special home in Strawberry). You will love it there... H and J

A pleasant relief from Tucson heat! Denise goes over and beyond to make sure her guests feel right at home. It had everything we needed and more. The cabin is on a quiet street and we enjoyed hanging out on the front porch, walking around the neighborhood and watching the elk, deer and a variety of birds. We are going back next month!

Property was as advertised. Awesome cabin with front/back porches. Large fenced yard which both dogs enjoyed. We definitely would stay again!!

Our stay was short and sweet but this adorable cabin was perfect and very cozy! It was as well stocked as could be with everything you might it need. We enjoyed watching the wildlife in the front yard, having coffee on the patio and loved the tucked away location of the cabin. We would definitely stay here again!!

We cannot say enough about what an amazing cabin Denise has provided. We only left for a few hours, but otherwise spent the entire vacation at the cabin, enjoying the decks.There are so many special nuances that are provided at the cabin. You really don’t need to bring anything other than a good book! The neighborhood is absolutely lovely for walks, and we were blessed to have elk and deer in the yard several times!Denise is wonderful! Cannot say enough about what a fantastic host she is! Hoping to return to the cabin very soon!

We felt so relaxed and the unexpected snow was a perfect surprise. The dogs loved the backyard and all the food and local places nearby were 10 out of 10. The property owner Denise was extremely helpful and accommodating and top notch communication and response. It was everything a cabin should be. Large group of Elk as we did a little stroll, cozy little fire, and the list goes on!

We traveled with our 2 pups and stayed in this wonderful cabin for the days leading up to Christmas. We loved the fenced backyard, quiet neighborhood and the indoor and outdoor fireplace.The cabin is beautiful and was perfect for the 2 of us.We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us!

The cute little cabin was just perfect for a weekend get away with friends. The cabin had so many amenities and touches that made it that much better From a boatload of games to play, a nice fireplace to stay warm and fully furnished kitchen for cooking a wonderful meal for my bday 🎂. The holiday decorations were a nice touch and everything was just so cute ! Everything was easy to find and access and the owner even stopped by to help us when we tripped a breaker ( our fault) We will return in the summer ❤️

We had a great time at the cabin over Thanksgiving. The cabin is well stocked with about everything that you can think of that you might need. The cabin is very clean and well taken care of. There were at least 25 elk walking down the road and in the front yard. Plus, we could watch squirrels running up and down the trees. We will be coming back again in the future.

Very cute cottage style cabin with wonderful front and back patios. This well laid out cabin comes with all the little details every visitor wants - keurig with coffee, tea or cocoa pods, coffee maker, mugs marshmallows, board games & puzzles etc etc.About the only con is the absence of a dishwasher. That may be an issue for some that plan on having big meals but for us, it just added to the rustic charm.

This was a great cabin in a beautiful area and a quiet street. Pet friendly and very cozy, just what we were looking for!

The second we arrived we felt more calm. Beautiful location, gorgeous quaint cabin with huge deck front & back. Large fenced yard in the back for the doggos. We'll be back for sure!
