UNIQUE! A stay you will remember

The ranch was gorgeous!! The property and the house both. Great location for hitting all the nearby areas (Telluride, Ouray, Black Canyon). Would stay here again! And the donkeys were fun to feed grass to, and 2 black dogs that would come visit were the sweetest!

BEAUTIFUL property! All 6 of us loved it and are planning on coming back.

Friends got to experience bugling elk. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the scenery. Will definitely return if the opportunity arises.

We loved this place. Host was very helpful. Unfortunately, we could only stay 1 night on this trip. Great amenities, but no hottub, as shown on site. Would definitely recommend this space. Very peaceful & away from the crowds!!

We had brief but fun stay. The house had everything we needed. It was fun to walk around the property to see the elk and bison!

The location was excellent. We were able to take siesta between our morning visit to BCGNP and our evening evenings sky presentation there. The property itself, the elk and buffalo, were wonderful. However, the beds in the two smaller bedrooms were creaky and uncomfortable, there was nowhere to hang clothes in the main bedroom and the kitchen had the bare minimum. Thankfully we only stayed one night so only the beds were an issue for us.

We absolutely loved our stay. The place is quite remote , so be prepared to off-road a bit, but once you get there it’s amazing. The house sits in the middle of a ranch. They had deer and bison , quite literally near the house. Clearly they use the place for both vacation rentals and also special events. It is a beautiful view, peaceful, quiet and great for a small family. I don’t think the pictures do justice to how beautiful it really is. The house has three bedrooms, one king bed, one queen and the third room had two twin beds. If I could have changed one thing about the property it would be the mattresses on the twin beds. They are not comfortable for adults though I’m sure kids wouldn’t care much about that. Overall, we loved it . It was the most memorable rental of our trip.One confusing thing about the check-in is that because the property is also used for events they have a sign on the door asking guests to use the restroom by the barn …that was alarming at first. Made it sound like there was no bathroom inside, but there are two full baths, for guests staying at the house. I think the sign was there because when there are events with many people attending - but not staying at the property - they are directed to the outhouse instead. Needless to say we were happy not to have to use the one by the barn, lol.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. The home was beautiful with incredible views. The hosts were incredibly kind and our tour of the ranch was a highlight!! Seeing the elk and bison just made our trip. Highly recommend for a memorable stay! We will be back!

Stayed for two nights with a friend. The property was clean and updated. The bed with very comfortable. The best part is the property itself. The grounds and the views are relaxing and beautiful taking it all in on the porch. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed one night with our two kids and really loved this ranch property. The house was clean and comfortable. The property had wide open spaces for kids to play, gorgeous views of the mountains and we got to see elk and buffalo on their farm.

We were so very pleased with this place. It's exactly what we were looking for. It's secluded and has the perfect area for kids to run and play. It's beautiful and my daughter said our cabin was one of her favorite parts of our trip. The host were very easy to get in touch with. We plan on coming back to Colorado sooner than we thought and we 100% will be staying here again. I couldn't recommend it enough

We stayed in the cabin for 5 days and used it as a base camp to explore the San Juan mountains. We day tripped to Telluride, Ouray, Silverton, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. The cabin was very nice and in a perfectly secluded area with a wonderful patio to relax and soak up the mountain air! Highly recommend. We will stay here again!

Just as advertised. A short drive away from the city but just enough to feel far away from it all. You are situated at the top of a hill overlooking Montrose miles away. The staff was very friendly. Every day you get to walk outside of your rental and see elk and bison on the ranch. What a special treat! The house was very clean and roomy. Only a few minutes drive away from Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP!

Very nice property. Very unique-we enjoyed the peace and quiet, seeing the animals, and being the only people there. Sitting on the porch was our favorite! It’s a quick drive to Black Canyon and to Montrose. The owners are so nice. We would love to visit again!
