Tri-River Retreat + Bunkhouse, only 5 min from downtown Talkeetna!

Excellent all around.

Great cabin in the woods, super close to Talkeetna. I loved how close it was. Talkeetna was our favorite town. The bunkhouse was great for our boys, the fire pit with wood was also wonderful! I also hiked one of the trails and they provided bear spray, which was awesome!!!!

Perfect spot just outside of talkeetna. Easy drive to the denali overlook and all of talkeetna.

This home was perfect for our short trip to Talkeetna. Short drive from shops and restaurants. The owner was great with communication!

We celebrated the first couple days of summer here after the school year concluded. Plenty of space for kids of different ages to sleep and lots of common space for eating, playing games, enjoying a campfire, etc. The main cabin is very nicely appointed with kitchen appliances and laundry. We didn’t need/use any of that, but I can see it would be nice for a longer stay. The location is really ideal — very close to town but still quiet and peaceful.

Stayed a couple of days in Talkeetna for New Years. Everyone loved the cabin. My kids loved the loft area and playing outside on the property, especially doing s'mores with the firepit. My wife enjoyed the sauna and being able to relax and read a book with an amazing view of the outdoors, and I enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. We all had a blast and can't wait to go back. Amazing hosts!

We enjoyed the unique Alaskan cabin in an unbeatable location outside Talkeetna. Roomy enough for 4 adults and easy access to hiking, and Denali NP. We even saw the Aurora from the property one night! A special place that felt like home while on our Alaskan adventure. Would definitely recommend to others.

Very clean and comfortable. Communication with owner was great. My 18 y/o son loved getting away from everyone by staying in the cute bunkhouse. Beautiful property and surroundings.

Positive experience

My only wish was that we had stayed longer! This property was so relaxing. It was easy to get to, easy to get into, easy to stay here. Lots of lovely natural light inside, the bunkhouse is really cute, fire pit for making s’mores. Close to downtown Talkeetna. I’m so glad we found this property, and working with Liz was a breeze. Hope to travel to Alaska again!

Modern and cozy cottage super close to the main drag of Talkeetna. Very well stocked with modern accommodations. There was a separate bunkhouse on the property that would be great for the adventurous of your party. Unfortunately it rained for our entire stay so we couldn’t take advantage of the fire pit or the nearby lake access. The town of Talkeetna has lots of places to eat. Groceries can be bought within a 10 minute drive. Overall an excellent place to stay minutes from food and entertainment. Communication with the host was quick. Check in and out was seamless. Would highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this cozy spot! Comfortable beds, lovely linens and very updated amenities and appliances. We lacked nothing and had a wonderful stay. Extremely responsive owner.

We loved this cabin in the woods! It was super clean, fully equipped, and welcoming. We peeked in the bunkhouse, but there were only 3 of us and we fit in the main cabin. The cabin had high-quality, high-end features we were not expecting! The location was super-convenient to Talkeetna, and 3 amazing Denali viewing spots! The host is top notch, and helped us find lodging in the area when the Riley Fire caused our lodge in Denali to cancel. Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Liz’s cabin in Talkeetna. Great location with X&Y lakes right across the street. The cabin the beautiful with modern conveniences, can’t wait to come back again!

Liz’s cabin was a perfect stay while in Talkeetna. Listing is exactly as advertised. This is a perfect location if you’re wanting peace and quiet, but still convenient to the town of Talkeetna for dining options. We loved the fire pit! Would definitely stay again!

The property was as described but further from the train station and downtown than anticipated. I had reached out to the property manager about getting in early but did not receive a response.

By far the nicest place the family has stayed. The toilet is AMAZING!
