Summer or winter, listen to the loons or catch a midnight view of the aurora borealis, the Red Sled offers a private lakefront retreat in the woods year-round.

Of course you’ll find a complimentary “Red Sled” for you to use – a kicksled in winter, a rocker sled on the porch in summer!

A truly lovely cabin: clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, a great space! The lake and woods were beautiful and quiet; we enjoyed watching the loons and the fall leaves starting to drift down. Holly was great to work with, even when we added family at the last minute. Highly recommend this wonderful rental!!
We loved our stay at the red sled, but you might want to bring drinking water.
We were looking for a cabin to go to that was far enough away but didn't take forever to get to from Anchorage. It fit the bill perfectly. We had a great day of snowshoeing/X-country skiing, and rang in the New Year! We had a power outage due to high winds and the owners took great care of us. Highly recommended!
