Proximity to Mesa Verde and Cortez make this a must stay place! We will be back!
This A frame house is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. I honestly wish we spent more time there. It’s decorated beautifully and is kept up so well. Super clean and comfortable and the view of the lake was the icing on the cake. We stayed here so we could go to Mesa Verde and it was the perfect location to do so. It’s also close to town. I totally recommend staying here.
We stayed here so we could be near Mesa Verde NP and it was such a nice home with so many amenities. Loved the deck hot tub. Enjoyed both nights out there stargazing. Very nicely decorated and cozy feeling. Beds were comfortable and view was fantastic.
Pictures don’t do justice to this lovely a-frame in Cortez. The sunset views from the porch and hot tub were perfect. Close to town and ten minutes to Mesa Verde.
This place was just as advertised. It is not a looker from the outside but, it was really nice on the inside. This place was a perfect central hub for a fly fishing adventures in S. Colorado. I would recommend this place to anyone. Note: As an outdoor enthusiast, 4 large bucks walking into the yard while drinking coffee on the porch was what probably set it over the top...
Great home with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding San Juan countryside. House was clean, beds comfortable, and the amenities perfect to come home to after running around all day seeing the sites. Would definitely stay here again!
This was a great house, fantastic location between Mesa Verde NP and Cortez. Very quiet area, beautiful sunsets and star gazing. The house has a great basement/rec room with a pool table and space for the kids to hang out and a nice “living” area that was good for conversation. Bedrooms were comfy and well laid out, our four year old grandson loved the trundle bed. All of this said, I think a deep clean might be in order, the double ovens need a scrub and there was a bit of dust all over. Outside, we loved the hot tub, perfect place to watch the sun set and there’s a small table placed perfectly for morning sun and afternoon shade! The deck overall needs some boards replaced here and there but we had a great time, got good rest and would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was very good. The hot tub had a malfunction but the host was super easy to reach and got the tub repaired the next day. It was very enjoyable to sit in and enjoy the stars. The house was comfortable and plenty large for our family of 5. Would stay here again happily!
Was a good getaway.
The cabin was clean and well prepped, it housed our group comfortably and had a great experience with our stay.
My husband and I had a few days to spare for a short getaway, we thought this place looked absolutely gorgeous, and let me tell you, It's exactly as pictured. LOVED the views from the beautiful windows, the sunsets and the stars at night are stunning ! The host also gave us recommendations of things to do in the area which ended up becoming some of the highlights of our trip. All in all really happy with our stay :)
My husband and I stayed at the Totten Lake Lodge for our honeymoon. We absolutely loved it! The house was outstanding. We kept ourselves plenty busy with billiards, darts, and the hot tub, while enjoying an incredible view of the lake, and the sleeping Ute mountain range. The owner was very pleasant, and answered every question we had. We look forward to returning one day in the future, and bringing the family along.
Pluses made the trip memorable. The minuses can be fixed. I would stay there again. Of course the minuses have to be fixed.
Property was clean and just as advertized.
Exactly like the pictures and description. Great house!
If you are looking for a comfortable cabin with a view, this is the spot! Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Great access to Mesa Verde, Phil’s world for mountain biking, and downtown Cortez.
My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to take in some much needed relaxation. We left our kiddos home this time although it is a perfect place for a family to stay and we will definitely book again for a family trip in the future. We had a tiny hiccup with the access code, but Sydney was very responsive and took care of it within minutes of our arrival. The view of stars and the Milky Way Galaxy at night are unbelievably breathtaking as we relaxed in the hot tub as there is very little light exposure from the city. The upstairs master bedroom is perfect. The east facing windows have curtains so the sun doesn't come directly into the room in the morning, but the view from the west side loft balcony creates amazing colors in the in the early mornings while the sun rises as we stayed all cozy in bed. We played pool together each night and my husband taught me how to play darts. We took a beautiful drive to Telluride and Mesa Verde while we were here and enjoyed a couple of local restaurants and breweries in the town only minutes from us. We will definitely be bringing our kiddos with us next time.
