Timber Bark Lodge 4BR Nestled in the Hilltop Pines with Private Hot Tub

We had a great time. Easy access into the cabin, plenty of room for everyone.

Nice location, quiet safe neighborhood. Hot tub was nice.

Easy access from town. Well stocked. Coffee machine, keurig, griddle. Do need to bring own soaps. Beds are standard comfort. Hot tub was great. Overall place was clean. Would stay again.

They answer any questions you have and are honest. Now to the house the house was beautiful clean and plenty of space. Yes there was a couple things wrong but it did not affect our stay at all.

We would love to rent it again next year if some interior improvements have been made. The leather love seat couch in the main living area was broken. The cloth couch in the main living room has the upholstery ripping off. The bar stools were falling apart in the kitchen and one was held together with black tape. Several light bulbs were out and rooms were dark. The hide a bed in the basement was broken. There were two grills on the deck, but only one works.

The host was quick to respond and gave us clear check-in and check-out instructions. There are three separate levels and it is gorgeous. We stayed for pub crawl and it was easy for us to get taxi’s to and from. The place was clean and had plenty of space for our group. There was plenty of towels and extra blankets for us to use. I would definitely recommend this stay.

Nice cabin. No firepit outside. Working the tv was confusing since there were no instructions left. Thermostat was weird and hard to set.

Our family had a wonderful time staying here. There was plenty of room for 6 adults, and we watched wildlife every morning and evening from the deck. When road construction caused a water problem, the owner/manager was quick to respond with suggestions.

Great place other than no air conditioning for 3 days. Great spot nice views out the windows and off the deck. The speed bumps on road were bad. Would stay there again in the future though.

We contacted Budi Kusser (Black Hills Adventure Lodging is the property mgmnt company) multiple times with our concerns, she told us we should go stay elsewhere and blew us off. Prime vacation season with a group of 9, finding last minute lodging was not an option; we were stuck. We took pics & documented everything so we would not get blamed. All this left over from previous occupants: Tin of chew, old food in both fridges, underwear & shorts, deodorant, empty chip bag under bed. The house was not at all cleaned & not cared for it was so gross; feces on toilet, broken indoor and outdoor furniture, arms stuck to the dining table, not vacuumed, sheets didn't fit beds, grills so dirty we wouldn't use, TV remotes didn't work, locks on bathroom doors didn't work, hot tub not maintained & ready for use. Before booking this location, read the YELP reviews! We wish we would have read the reviews because we would absolutely not have booked this property. Budi Kusser and the property mgmnt company have a laundry list of issues! There are so many pages of complaints in the guest notebooks left in the house as well.
