THE WOODLANDS - VERY QUIET SECLUDED CABIN

The cabin was very cozy and I throughly enjoyed how it was decorated. It had everything I could ask for! On the first night I was already seeing a bunch of deer (who were not scared of us!)

The property was quiet, secluded and beautiful. The perfect place for a peaceful getaway.

The cabin was very clean and the owner provided the little things that made the stay easy.

Beautiful quite nice cabin. It was perfect of my husband and I , we have made this an annual trip and will try our best to book this cabin again.

We arrived very late after driving from Atlanta, but Lisa had given us excellent directions. We were very impressed with the cabin - it had everything. Great wi-fi, full kitchen, very comfortable bed, plenty of space, porches & fire pit & other extras that we didn't really get a chance to use. I would highly recommend this wonderful getaway in the most beautiful area of Alabama.

Secluded, yet convenient to local shops and restaurants. Host and hostess thought of everything you need for a stay away from home.

This!!!!! These owners go above and beyond any property we have leased!!! Property was exactly as described and some added features including anything and everything we have at home. Including a “Just in case we forgot something” basket. The cabin was super clean and cared for. The cabin is in a quiet and private setting but close to town. We didnt see any wildlife but saw tracks. The owner is prompt to respond for questions and friendly. This is our new favorite property/owner!! Will see yall again the next time we can head north for a few days!

Cabin was very clean and well maintained. Mentone was smaller than expected but lots of hiking opportunities at nearby parks.

The Cabin was very cozy. We did enjoy the Fireplace since there was still snow out around the fire pit. Unfortunately the places close to the cabin were not open during our visit. Maybe another time. We would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was great! It was very clean and welcoming, and it was stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. All of the 'extras', like the grill, firewood, candles, movies, games, walking stick, binoculars, etc, made this place even more homey and special. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We definitely plan on going back!

The cabin was decorated for Christmas. Beautiful tree.Nice fenced yard. Within walking distance to town. Host communication was great. We will be back next Christmas

Great weekend getaway! Quiet, quaint, wooded, and full of wildlife. My wife and I had a great stay! If you want more than simple, don't go. If you love simple and going back in time, go! We give it five stars for what it is! If you love deer, deers, and more deers, plus squirrels, etc, you might enjoy this spot. If you smoke, like we do, you will enjoy this place, as outside ashtrays are on both front and back porch.

We had a wonderful getaway at The Woodlands, the cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We will definitely stay again.

Itcwas very clean. Nice and cozy. Nature helps you to find yourself. Love seeing the dear that came by twice to see us. Me and my husband enjoyed our selfs here in the woods.

Such a quiet getaway so close to Mentone and the restaurants. The deer were all around this property. The cabin was awesome well maintained and cleaned the property was beautiful we'll plan to stay there again

I loved the Mentone Market snd being able to walk to dinner. The blackout curtains were fantastic. I actually rested. Amazing communication!!!

One of the best vrbos that we've stayed in. I felt like i was at granny's house from back in the day. We loved everything about it. I stayed on the porches most of the time. The decoration and theme of the house is great. I loved the scriptures, and really needed them. Owners knew my story and why i needed the quiet, so they left us alone. And we didn't need anything. When other reviewers said they thought of everything that you may need, they truly have. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us. Hope to be back soon!

The cabin was just aa pictured and more ! All the special details was an extra plus ! Although it was just me, there was still ample room to move around and be comfortable for more than 2 people. Kitchen had all necessary items.Bathroom was clean and so organized ! The two porches, front and back, is the perfect spot to relax and take in the peace andvquiet of nature. At night, the train coming thru gave it a rural country feel. Close to everthing Mentone has to offer, and not far from other activities and shops. Will definitely return, maybe in winter next time to try out the big fireplace !!

The cabin was wonderful. It had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing weekend. It was very clean. It was in a great location.

This is the perfect place to relax do nothing, and just commune with nature.. it’s quiet cozy, and very private.. we only saw deer, squirrels, and birds. the sound of silent nature at its best. Host provided wonderful accommodations.will be returning soon

Was in much need of some R & R, alone time with peace and quiet! This cabin was perfect. Cabin was nice and clean and well stocked with everything needed. I enjoyed most of my time sitting on the front and back porch. Look forward to returning.

We had such an amazing time. When you pull up to the house, it’s like you literally leave your cares behind. We actually got engaged here on 10/25/24. Such a perfect weekend! We would love to return in the future!

We did not know what to expect but were very pleased with the accommodations. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The front and back porch were excellent. We did a lot of sitting and reading outside. The cabin and location was perfect. We will return and hopefully soon.

It was so private! Very close to town. We saw a momma and baby deer, a big rabbit and a squirrel in the back yard!!! The cleanest cabin ever!!! The owners provided items above and beyond, toiletries, great coffee and hot chocolate choices, and great snacks and bottled water! This is an ideal cabin!

Close to downtown Mentone. Very easy check in with great communication from owners. A+.

The cabin exceeded our expectations! It was so nicely furnished and the owners provided so many extras. The cabin was conveniently located to downtown. The cabin was furnished very nicely. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the front porch with the two swings. We saw four deer in the yard the morning we left. It was a great weekend for my husband and I! We definitely will go back!

Great cabin. Anything you could think of you might need was there. Lots of personal touches inside and out.
