The Minne Stuga is a Chalet style A-Frame cabin on Devil Track Lake, approximately 10 minutes north of downtown Grand Marais. The cabin was originally built in 1973 and received a complete restoration in 2021. Updates include all new Marvin Windows and doors, new flooring throughout the cabin with in-floor heat in bathrooms and living spaces, new A/C units in both bedrooms for sleeping comfort, and all new plumbing and electrical. Stayed May 13, 2026We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and so well thought out and well stocked with everything we needed. The amount of space and sitting areas is great. There was an awesome library of board games for us to spend time together playing, and plenty of spaces to curl up with a book for quiet time. The fireplace was great, and so was the sauna. The game room area was a huge hit too! We would definitely stay here again

Stayed Mar 30, 2026The Minne Stuga is an amazing destination! Owners have done an incredible job of curating a ‘less is more’ experienceFamily needed a break from the ‘real’ world and The Minne Stuga totally delivered! Intentionally minimal tech but the WiFi was excellent and family movie night using the projector/screen was especially memorable Our party was 3 couples (me/wife, oldest child 1, youngest 1). Property is perfectly set up so each couple had their own floor. With the 4 bunk beds in the lowest floor, it would be great for multiple kiddos too! Went snowshoeing out on Devil Track Lake and pic attached shows the sunset we saw!Thanks Kevin/Melissa for making The Minne Stuga trip an unforgettable family adventure!
