The Space:

The Honeymoon Cabin draws its name from countless travelers that have enjoyed special occasions and intimate events among the retreat's stunning valley views, cozy settings, and fully equipped kitchen. As you approach the cabin, you'll immediately be drawn to the expansive deck wrapping around the front and side to provide views in nearly every direction. Full-year and seasonal lighting line the runway deck approaching the main door which leads into the cabin's open living, dining area, and kitchen. If crafting that perfect meal for your loved one is in the cards, you'll find full-sized appliances and all the accessories, cookware, and bakeware to make it a reality.



The property has two bedrooms and desk options to take care of the pesky emails that might draw your attention. Reliable high speed internet can keep you connected for video calls or streaming movies. A full-sized bathroom with washer and dryer round out the cabin's interior spaces.



Perhaps what will draw your attention the most is enjoyed behind two large sliding glass doors that overlook the valley. Step through and you'll find comfortable seating and the cabin's hot tub ready for you to relax and recharge among the starts. Note that the hot tub is best enjoyed by 2-3 people, so while we welcome groups of up to 4, the design of our deck best accommodates a smaller hot tub to provide space for seating and maximize the best views.



Before, during, and after your stay, we're known for happily offering and suggesting local favorites for wineries, restaurants, hiking and more. Our goal is to remove the stresses of the cookie cutter experience, so expect plenty of the small things that help make your experience memorable.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of some locked storage spaces.



The Neighborhood:

The property is nestled in the small mountain community of Shenandoah Farms in Virginia's Blue Mountains. The area is a mix of full-time residents, second homes, and short term rentals.



Getting Around:

While we encourage you to take a stroll using the mountain roads, a vehicle will be required to reach nearby attractions. Important -- the property can only accommodate one vehicle with limited parking availability.

Once your booking is confirmed, you'll receive a comprehensive property guide highlighting the area’s best wineries, hiking trails, restaurants, and outdoor adventures. It also includes detailed property information and FAQs to help you prepare for and enjoy your stay to the fullest.



SPEACIAL OCCASION & PREMIUM SERVICES

We offer several special occasion decorating options and other services to make your romantic getaway worry free and one of a kind. Our most popular option is our premium package that includes bubbly, fresh flowers, balloons, and decor for $320. These typically require at least five days advance notice, but we may be able to accommodate last minute requests on a case by case basis.



PETS

We love hosting your furry companions and welcome up to two dogs. Please include them in your reservation and a pet fee will automatically be included in your reservation total. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional fees to compensate for potential extra wear and tear at the property and additional cleaning regimens that we undertake. Note that emotional support animals (ESAs) are designated as pets and subject to these fees and other pet policies. Service animals are always welcome, but please let us know about them in advance so we can let our cleaning team know.



FAMILY FRIENDLY AMENITIES

We offer a pack n'play crib and full-sized freestanding highchair for families traveling with young ones.



VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

The final stretch of roads leading to the property is unpaved but well maintained. Most of the year, 2WD vehicles can access the property without issue. However, during snow or icy conditions, 4WD or AWD may be recommended or required. We will notify you in advance if winter or severe weather is expected, offering guidance on safe access. Full refunds are typically only provided if the property is inaccessible for more than 24 hours by 4WD or AWD vehicles.



GUEST SAFETY & WELLNESS

Your safety and well-being are our top priority. All bedding, including sheets, quilts, and blankets, is washed between reservations. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed in all bedrooms, and fire extinguishers are available throughout the property.



The area is surrounded by wildlife - you will regularly see deer and may even sneak a peak at a black bear hanging out on the mountain. While the property rarely houses critters of its own, the occasional bug or tiny creature may make a visit! Just let us know if anything is out of the ordinary.
