Tettegouche Log Cabin Lake Superior views, Sauna, 4 state parks, snowshoe trails

This was the best weekend getaway! Very nice set up and beautiful scenery. Will be coming back again.

This cabin is awesome! My family had a perfect fall stay here and a wonderful experience. Property owner was great with communication. Would highly recommend!

Great stay. Directions for hiking were good. Quiet surroundings. Sadly, didn't get a chance to try the sauna.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. We absolutely loved the view from the deck! It was a great location for us as we were able to visit Finland, MN without camping. We had a very relaxing stay.

Beautiful log cabin at top of a hill, nestled in the woods, with great lake views, and spectacular sunrises. Sauna and campfire under the stars added perks. Everything you need as a base camp to explore the north shore.

This is our second stay at this beautiful cabin. The views from many angles are stunning. It is quiet and cozy, complete with a fireplace, fire ring and sauna. The cabin is well-stocked and perfect for relaxing days at the cabin or exploring all that the NorthShore has to offer.

We absolutely loved the cabin, the views were wonderful, and the cabin was perfect,very comfortable. Definately will pick this place when we return to the North Shore.

I was not prepared for the brutality of the mosquitos on the North Shore, but this was otherwise an absolutely delightful experience, and would recommend to anybody for a peaceful getaway in nature.

The cabin has a beautiful overlook of lake superior and is close to all the hiking trails that we wanted while we were there. Instructions to sauna were clear and was a nice bonus. The one downfall that we had was that it was hot and humid while we were there and the ceiling fan was not functioning and there is no AC. Things that did not affect our stay but maybe would have been nice to know ahead of time was the loft is considered the bedroom. The coffee maker is a coffee press (which I was unfamiliar with) and we could not find a lighter to start fires, so we had to buy one. Overall stay was very nice.

We had a great time staying in this cabin and enjoyed its location to many of the sites.

Perfect for the two of us. Took a minute to get used to the stairs but everything else was set up great. We hung out on the deck overlooking the lake, plays games on the screen porch and even got the sauna going. The fire pit was perfect and it was nice they supplied all of the wood. Definitely recommend for a couple.

Love at first sight! Perfect for what we needed to get away. Private with stunning views. Easy access to State Parks and so much to explore. Enjoyed every minute.

We had an amazing stay. The remote privacy of the cabin made for a relaxing and restful getaway. The views are INCREDIBLE from the deck, porch, and even the living room. We loved watching the sunrise and stars at night!

The weather was perfectly mixed, and topping off a chilly morning walk or a toasty afternoon climb with a sauna and then a beer on the deck was amazing!! We gifted our parents a stay at Shawn & Edward's property for the second time now for Christmas. They both came back saying it was incredibly relaxing and cozy, they enjoyed the proximity to North Shore sights like Split Rock lighthouse, the Onion River, and other hiking trails, and the sauna was wonderful. I know they would love to come back.They also really enjoyed their interactions with Shawn & Edward and were thankful for their warm welcome. I also want to thank Shawn & Edward for helping them check in, as I was out of the country and didn't receive the texts they had sent. Thank you for the extra patience and care!

Excellent property for rest and relaxation

My partner and I had a lovely stay at this beautiful Cabin. It was very peaceful and beautiful at the property and everything was in good condition and clean. We loved the wood fire sauna and wood stove in the cabin, made for a cozy stay! Highly recommend!

We loved the setting - the view of the water and the surrounding woods with the perfect clearing for a campfire. And we loved the simple and thoughtful design of the cabin and its furnishings that made it easy to relax and rejuvenate. On our last night, the clouds blew away and we could stare at the stars through the cabin windows.

Loved being there. The place was very clean and loved the outdoor decks and screened in porch. Water pressure was great. WIFI was perfect. Kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware's. Ed and Shawn were good at communication. The surrounding are is beautiful. We went to Grand Marias (50 miles) and had a great time poking around town and going to dinner. Definately would sstay here again.
