Summer Haven - Your Adventure Retreat near Dupont and Pisgah National Forests

Relaxing stay in a great location with easy access to outdoor activities. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful trip.

The cabin was beautiful, modern, comfortable and very clean! It had everything we needed for a four day stay. The grounds were beautiful, and the location is great for outdoor activities.

Awesome place to stay. Close to mtb trails, waterfalls, town, and many other things to do. House is clean, well stocked with essentials, and host is great to work with.

Summer Haven was perfect for our girls weekend getaway. The cabin was immaculately clean, very spacious and comfortable; the kitchen well-stocked. Melinda was very responsive to a minor issue with the front door key pad. We will definitely return. It’s wonderful!

The property was great and communication with the owner was quick and clear.

Very comfortable mountain house! Kitchen was well supplied, beds were comfortable and the surrounding area is beautiful. (The downstairs bathroom could use body wash or soap)

This was our best experience at any type of rental property. The home was just as it was projected - well-appointed, spacious, clean, comfortable, and located in a wonderful spot. The rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the forest was a bonus. We were there primarily for hiking and outdoor enjoyment. The area is rich in opportunities. We took advantage of a variety of food choices and shopping a few minutes drive away in Brevard. The owner has provided a well thought out opportunity here. This is a comfortable and convenient property. We will be back!

Awesome, very clean and nicely decorated cabin located so close to DuPont State Park. Loved our time in the cabin after busy days mountain biking in the area!

The home was beautiful and check/ check out went smoothly. I felt the pictures of the outside area were quite deceiving as the yard was very small. Otherwise everything was perfect!

The cottage was everything and more of what we remembered from a stay 7 years ago. The owner was kind enough to insure we could manipulate the driveway, bringing in sand and shoveling some ice. So thoughtful. Thanks, Melinda for sharing and caring. We'll be back!

My husband, two college age sons and I spent 7 days at this beautiful cabin to ring in the New Year. The cabin is well stocked, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay. Convenient to Dupont Forest and Caesar's Head. The accomodations were perfect. Very clean and had all the conveniences of home. Check in very easy, communication with the host was great.

Absolutely amazing property, the host was so king and informative, the property was immaculate, the area was very private and serene. 100% recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.
