Stepaway Vacation Rentals- Lost at Last

Overall, an amazing property—welcoming with really cute décor. Quaint and quiet, it ended up being more of a getaway for just me and my partner after family plans fell through, which made it even more special.

Great place to stay. Had everything We needed. So close to the lake and We saw eagles every day!

We were told there was air conditioning- there wasn’t on 2 of the hottest days of the summer -Disappointed that gas wasn’t included in the cost of the ok toon rental that we only used for a few hoursMany bugs as there were holes in the screens Will not be returning

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the first night we tried to cook on the gas grill provided and within 7 mins, of our grilling the propane ran out, wings were ruined. No top sheet on queen sized bed on one of the beds. We ended up buying a sheet set. The main bathroom had a terrible mildew smell. They told us to bring towels. Seriously for what we paid for the cabin they should have enough towels! On the upside, the pontoon boat we rented was super nice. Looked brand new! The lake was quiet, not a lot of boat traffic. There is no air conditioning so it was very warm in our bedroom. Also, no spigot to clean fish or anything for a hose. Kitchen was recently updated and it’s beautiful.

Master bedroom is new and spacious. 2 additional bedrooms are smaller, but adults said they were fine with it. Also, Kathy was prompt in responding to any questions we had. Very professional.

The home is just steps from the sandy-bottom lake. We enjoyed using the kayaks.. The home was clean and tastefully renovated. The kitchen was very well equipped.

We were on vacation with our 3 children (17,18,20). There was plenty of room for us, well appointed kitchen and very clean. The tv room has a pullout couch and futon, but no window treatments so the room was very bright in the morning. Beds are comfortable and after not getting the initial email with check in information, the host was very responsive to texts. We would stay there again!
