The location is perfect. Having two piers is a nice bonus. The few questions we had about the place were answered and taken care of immediately. I would highly recommend the Carefree Creek cabin.

My son and husband participated in the St Germaine Muskey tournament, and my daughter, my mom and myself enjoyed resting, sitting on the deck and pier, and the eagle river cranberry festival.

Disappointed they don't provide shower towels or bath mats - I think that information should be listed in the listing. Also Disappointed with their check-in/out times. Nobody was using the rental the night before I wanted to come early on our check-in date and they only let us come 2 hours earlier - kind of ****** with how expensive the rental was and a 9am check-out is crazy most places it's 11am. They also said no dogs but there were several rules within the house about dogs (keep them off furniture, don't leave them alone, etc) so it makes me think we could've brought our dog and save $300 on his kennel fees.Loved the view and there was plenty of space for everyone.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was clean. Could use TLC on outside of cabin. Steps fixed with wood wedge to prop up; path to pier is very rugged and bench on pier shaky. Bathrooms are tiny. Kitchen was well stocked. Cabin is inches from the lake which makes for a beautiful setting. Very early check out of 9 a.m. Watch fee charges - on this one.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at Carefree Creek! The house was exactly what we needed, Clean & plenty of living space and a great outdoor set up. The only thing I would say was the stairs to the loft were a tad narrow if you plan on using the loft as a bedroom. Also I loved how helpful the management was, we never needed them for anything but when I spoke with her she mentioned she was only a phone call away had we needed them. Plenty of parking for 3 trucks with trailers even though we had to get a little creative. Not many houses can accommodate that! Would stay here again if we book another lake cabin!
