Starway to Heaven Cabin at Red River Gorge - Hot Tub - Great View

A dreamy cabin for our little family to spend quality time together. Loved everything about it: views, hottub, firepit, and amenities. Didn't want to leave.

The photos of the cabin on the website are very accurate. The interior decor is very tastefully done. The unit was well maintained. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, cookware and dinnerware. Nothing better than hiking the trails during the day and then sitting in the hot tub followed by a fire every night. The host provided very detailed instructions of how to find the cabin with a picture of the blue sign of where to turn. That was extremely helpful! We had a very enjoyable experience!

Great place to stay!

We absolutely love this cabin. We’ve stayed here for the past two years and already look forward to coming back again next year. The host goes above and beyond to make every guest feel valued, which makes each stay relaxing and enjoyable. This place has truly become one of our favorite getaways.

- This cabin was so clean and cozy! - They had ALL of the amenities -Game cabinet and giant jenga in the living room Spacious shower in one bathroom nice deep tub in the other.-Queen beds were more comfortable for us. - They have an open deck and a VERY NICE screened in area as well . - 15 mins from town (IGA grocery store, and pizza place next door, Dollar General, Liquor Store).

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. Every little detail was carefully thought out. Clean, well stocked, and easy to get to all of the local attractions. The back deck was absolutely amazing with two separate sitting areas and the hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. My host Bradley was extremely friendly and helpful in giving directions to the cabin and offering details about local activities and places to eat. I would definitely book this cabin again for a relaxing stay.

Great stay at this cabin. The view was beautiful. We ate breakfast on the deck every morning and it was our favorite part. The hot tub was relaxing after our hikes. We would stay here again.

Stayed here in March 2026. Highly recommend! Excellent location for Red River Gorge, very clean and well stocked cabin. On a quiet road with lots of space between neighbors. Great communication with Brad, very helpful owner.

Everything was great! We drove an hour each way every day for adventures in the gorge. The property was beautiful, immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. The cabin is just beautiful and we enjoyed everything about it! From the cleanliness to the nice modern appliances to the amenities like the rain showers and hot tub. The owner answered any question I sent him very quickly and gave excellent directions so we were able to find the cabin easily. And also that view was spectacular and we so enjoyed the back porch! Fire pit was a bonus and felt very safe. Overall just a fabulous experience!!

Beautiful well kept home in an ideal setting. The host was easy to communicate with and had lots of information at the home pointing out local places of interest. I will say to plan out your meals because you're not going to just run out to the corner store, it is remote.

we had a fabulous time at our stay in Starway to Heaven, the place was so clean and welcoming and well prepared with everything that you would need to use. it is tucked away and secluded wand the only real noises to be heard were from the wildlife around you. we really enjoyed our stay and Brad was very helpful with communicating some great information about the area and suggestions of things to do and the places to go. loved our stay!!!

What a nice cabin. The beds and linen were very comfortable. A hot tube on the back deck was perfect after our long drive to the place. The kitchen is stocked well. The screened porch has a ceiling fan for warm evenings. The view off the main deck is beautiful. My only complant is that I didn't book more nights here.

I almost don’t want to share this review because we loved this place so much—we’d like to keep it our little secret. The location is perfect, the view is stunning, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. My wife and I already know we’ll be coming back. The owner was very thoughtful and provided a number of generous amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. I would rate it 10 stars, if they would allow me.

We have rented many VRBO and this was by far the best. It was every thing as advertised and more. Breath taking scenery, perfectly decorated, clean and very nice accommodations. Lovely kitchen with plenty of dishes and utensils. The Hot Tub and fire pit were amazing and used every day. If you want to get away and relax or take a hike this is the place for you.

Everything about our 2-day stay was perfect. The set- up of the cabin was just right for 2 old girl friends. The setting is private with beautiful views. Though I’m from Illinois, my friend is from Lexington and she plans to take her husband back. Thank you!

In communication with Brad in advance of our arrival, he wanted to ensure we had a 5 star stay. But this property exceeded our expectations in every way and deserves all the stars in the Milky Way galaxy! This quiet, serene location was the perfect retreat for our girl's getaway. Brad's directions to the cabin were spot on and the cabin itself was spotless--impeccably clean and appointed with everything we needed and more. This cabin is great for friends or a family looking for a retreat from all the noise. Starway to Heaven is appropriately named, as we were blessed with clear skies during our stay and greeted by the most gorgeous star-filled nights! We enjoyed the scenic drive to the gorge from this location and were able to do all the things we wanted during our stay. Returning home from Starway feeling well rested (thank you for the most comfy and cozy beds) and relaxed! We loved everything about this wonderful home on the hill and hope to return in the future.

Starway to Heaven is a quiet retreat tucked into the winding Ridgeway of remote Frenchburg. The cabin is spacious and full of natural light. There's a great view of a gorge that catches both the rising and setting sun well, and when it rains, it fills with rolling fog. The back deck is a perfect place for a cup of coffee or a late night soak in the hot tub. The kitchen has a new stove and microwave, great for cooking meals for a whole family. If you're looking for a quiet, private place, this cabin is perfect.

Cabin was very clean and, in our experience, this is difficult to find. Everything was in good condition with a great view and as described. The drive to hiking and restaurants is longer than we would typically want, but the cabin made up for it. The area is very quiet and peacefully. We would return.

We needed a peaceful getaway and this place foot the bill. Thoughtfully stocked with the basics and very clean. Great view of natural beauty off the back deck. We were spoiled! Brad had the check in process and all of the details laid out leaving little to question! We clearly visited during the off season so not much activity while out and about, which was fine with us! Access to the RRG Loop is easy enough. We highly recommend!

This cabin was fabulous! Very clean, comfortable couches, and beds. This cabin has everything you need. We didn't have a single complaint. The hot tub and fire fit area was also very nice. We will definitely come back and sray again.

We came for a ladies’ weekend & had the best time! We (by choice) never left the cabin and just lounged around, soaked in the hot tub, and just spent time together. The area is beautiful & it was absolutely a perfect & relaxing weekend. The cabin was super clean & inviting, the furniture was comfy, and the view from the back deck was breathtaking, even in the winter. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

Property is as listed. Beautiful view, very clean (including the hot tub) bed is comfortable (which is a necessity for us after hiking all day) and great amenities. We cooked dinner every night and had everything we needed for cookware. We had an amazing stay and look forward to a return visit! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin.

We typically make an annual trip to the Gorge and this cabin has become our cabin for that stay! Stairway to Heaven was beautiful. The layout of the cabin, the simplicity of the check in/check out, the VIEW! All of it was perfect Thank you for providing such a beautiful place to stay.

The first thing I noticed was how clean this cabin was! The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was one of the cleanest I’ve been in at a rental! Beautiful view from the back porch!! This was the perfect place to catch up with some old friends. The table on the back porch was the perfect place for some card games in the nice weather. The location was great too, secluded yet not too far from amenities. Would absolutely recommend this cabin and would stay again!

Not much else to say - perfect relaxing weekend we were looking for. Great view of the valley from the hot tub. Fire pit area was another highlight. Kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook dinner. Place was easy to find. My only comment is that the decor in the master room above the bed kind of freaked us out. We're not spiritual people but we both got uncomfortable sleep that night and had to move to the other room (which was very comfortable)

The house was wonderful, clean. Disappointed there wasn't a gas grill. Brad was very nice in helping us get there, however the address is a mailing address. It was very confusing to get to the cabin. There was Keurig coffee maker, we had brought coffee to brew in a pot. We found one in the top cabinet, there was molded coffee filter that looked like it had been there quite a while. No worries, we cleaned it up. Brad suggestion, you should put a memo book in the cabin so people could tell you what a nice time they had. All in all, we had a great time on our yearly vacation. Three friends or 48 years.
