FWD sedans generally do NOT make it up the driveway. Most FWD drive minivans do not make it all the way up the driveway due to the weight distribution. A Rear Wheel Drive Vehicle will not make it up the driveway. AWD vehicles have no issues accessing the property and are preferable to ensure complete mobility.

Jeremy met us and made sure we could find the place and get up the steep driveway, as well as orienting us to the house. Particularly enjoyed the well equipped, modern kitchen and the wood burning fireplace with unlimited supply of firewood. Loved the 40 acres with private hiking trail to the top of the mountain. Strongly recommend!
We had the pleasure of staying at this Shenandoah mountain cabin, and can't express how truly exceptional the experience was. From start to finish, it exceeded all expectations. The location is a hidden gem! Perched on a hill overlooking the SW valley, it offers breathtaking views. The cabin itself is a testament to craftsmanship, beautifully renovated with meticulous attention to detail. The homeowners were a delight to interact with from the moment we inquired about the rental. They were incredibly communicative and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. Upon arrival, they took the time to give us a thorough overview of the amenities and the surrounding area, which they've clearly put a lot of love and effort into. One of the highlights of our stay was the private hiking path that starts at the cabin's doorstep. Winding its way to the top of the hill, you'll find a large grassy park offering heavenly views of the NE Shenandoah mountain range. Visiting during the autumn season, we were treated to the spectacular sight of changing leaves, which continued throughout our stay. In addition to the natural beauty, the cabin's proximity to attractions like Luray Caverns, local wineries and distilleries made for the perfect balance. We loved exploring the area but always looked forward to returning to grill dinner and watch the sunset by the outdoor fire pit overlooking the valley. This cabin is an absolute must for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway.
