I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars, everything about our weekend was so wonderful! Jeremy was a gracious host with easy communication and ensured we had everything we needed. The house was extremely well supplied and very cozy. The views were absolutely breathtaking and our dogs loved the private hiking around the property. We will absolutely be visiting again!

It was awesome that Jeremy met us at start of the driveway ( 4x4 a must) and we followed him up 1 mile to the cabin. As we drove up the mountain, Jeremy stopped and described the most difficult part of the driveway, so we had no trouble. I absolutely loved the driveway, it was fun! He also explained everything in the very clean and beautiful cabin. The views from the cabin were amazing not to mention the wildlife. We were very comfortable and had the most relaxing week

Jeremy and Robin have an absolutely amazing cabin and create such a welcoming and cozy environment. The cabin is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and includes everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Jeremy even made sure there were dog bowls and fresh water for our dog Gus when we arrived, and was there to help us up the driveway and to check in. We had an incredible weekend there and can’t say the enough nice things about the house and the owners! The hiking trail was great, and we enjoyed having coffee out on the deck in the morning, and stargazing making s’mores by the fire pit in the evening. I would recommend staying there to anyone looking for the perfect mountain retreat! We definitely hope to stay again!

This home was absolutely amazing. Very secluded, I would highly recommend a 4WD vehicle as depicted in the listing. The house is so homely and everything looks brand new, very clean. The owners also left a gift basket for us which was such a nice gesture.

Jeremy was so helpful in every way: sending suggestions of things to do in the area, texting detailed directions, meeting us and showing us the way, and providing a thoughtful and tasty welcome basket that we truly enjoyed. We had a great time with friends hiking on the private trail, having fires indoor and out, and enjoying the beautiful deck view of the Shenandoah mountains. Kitchen was well appointed, beds were comfy, and we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. We hope to return with our pups. Thanks!

The property was really beautiful and secluded and plenty of room for our dogs to run around. Jeremy and robin had everything we needed and even left us a nice welcome basket. The house was very comfortable and clean. Our niece and nephew had a blast roasting marshmallows and looking at the stars.

Jeremy met us and made sure we could find the place and get up the steep driveway, as well as orienting us to the house. Particularly enjoyed the well equipped, modern kitchen and the wood burning fireplace with unlimited supply of firewood. Loved the 40 acres with private hiking trail to the top of the mountain. Strongly recommend!

We had the pleasure of staying at this Shenandoah mountain cabin, and can't express how truly exceptional the experience was. From start to finish, it exceeded all expectations. The location is a hidden gem! Perched on a hill overlooking the SW valley, it offers breathtaking views. The cabin itself is a testament to craftsmanship, beautifully renovated with meticulous attention to detail. The homeowners were a delight to interact with from the moment we inquired about the rental. They were incredibly communicative and helpful, providing us with all the information we needed. Upon arrival, they took the time to give us a thorough overview of the amenities and the surrounding area, which they've clearly put a lot of love and effort into. One of the highlights of our stay was the private hiking path that starts at the cabin's doorstep. Winding its way to the top of the hill, you'll find a large grassy park offering heavenly views of the NE Shenandoah mountain range. Visiting during the autumn season, we were treated to the spectacular sight of changing leaves, which continued throughout our stay. In addition to the natural beauty, the cabin's proximity to attractions like Luray Caverns, local wineries and distilleries made for the perfect balance. We loved exploring the area but always looked forward to returning to grill dinner and watch the sunset by the outdoor fire pit overlooking the valley. This cabin is an absolute must for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway.
