Stayed Jan 30, 2026Would appreciate an 11 am check out time instead of 10 am. The house needs a little work - especially the kitchen. The location and scenery are great. The big windows in the living room looking out to the woods are nice.

Stayed Jul 29, 2025This is a great house! Lovely rooms and comfortable beds. WiFi was great and the kitchen was good. Maybe some new knives would be nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the lack of privacy in the backyard. We discovered some great restaurants in the area too. Of course the bike riding at Sandy Ridge is exceptional and very close to the house.

Stayed Jun 13, 2025We loved the clean interior and the decor! The windows on the back woods and the fireplace are a beautiful focal point! Lots of room, with 3 bedrooms. The chest of drawers in the dining room has lots of games, books, and puzzles. The location is wonderful with trails, an easy walk to the river, and a local market close by. The commerce area is a quick drive away. The cabin is off the highway, so there is no traffic noise. We really enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Jun 29, 2025This was just as described and clean. We had a problem with the dishwasher and the communication with the property was excellent. This was a very close drive to trillium lake. We were able to swim and picnic all day. After, we were able to come back to the property and enjoy a nice warm real fire in the fireplace. We highly recommend!

Stayed May 15, 2024The home was clean and neat. When we first walked in the door we were met with a very strong smell of smoke. We had to open all the windows to clear the air in the home. Apparently a prior renter either built a fire without opening the flue or the chimney does not draw properly. The smell continued through out the stay just not as strong. Couple of items need attention. 1. One of the plastic pitchers in the kitchen is cracked on the bottom. 2. In going through the leaving instruction it mentions about turning off the hot tub but did not indicate where to locate the switch(we did find it eventually on the corner of the house). 3. When making reservations I wound up getting two invoices. One from Vrbo and one from Meredith lodging for about $70 less. .
