Rustic Retreat sleeps 14

Overall we Really Enjoyed our stay at the Rustic Retreat. It was our 1st cabin rental & we were focused on Retreating not gadding about. Weather reinforced this with rain most days. It was spacious, quiet & close to everything. Beds were comfy! Towels lovely & plentiful. Kitchen nicely stocked w pots/pans/dishes, cookie sheets. Wifi/Internet worked great. For Future Visitors: no dresser drawers in bedrooms or hangers in closets. There is an air hockey table & deck of cards; no other games/puzzles. No folding or coffee table for games/ puzzles. No colander for pasta/produce in kitchen. One of the grills was not useable, the grate would not remain in place. Smaller grill was fine so plan your cooking accordingly. There is no outside eating area; bring your own table & seating. There are several flat areas to set table up or on huge front deck. Bring frisbees, nets, balls, etc for outdoor fun. We didn't use the firepit but we did use the hot tub. This was the big issue for us. There are no instructions & no warnings about the amount of chlorine in the floaty. We figured out controls BUT chlorine was overwhelming! It ruined 2 bathing suits & eyes, noses, throats & skin were red & irritated. Thank god for the HWOD system so we could all shower immediately after! Dollar General is abt 25 mins away & you can buy what you don't bring, lovely scenery on the way too. We learned a lot & had Great Fun; would definitely recommend w/ hot tub caveat.

Cabin was wonderful!

This cabin is in a easy to get to location. Road to cabin is a paved road. The cabin was very clean and has plenty of room to stretch out. The property is beautiful with a nice huge backyard. The fire pit area is an added bonus to the out door space. The one thing that was missed thou was it has no dressers or hangers for clothes . It would have been nice to have on our longer then 2 night stay. If you want a gorgeous sunset Brow park is a 2 min ride from the cabin. Over all a great stay in a beautiful location.

The cabin is in a great location close to town, but quiet area with a good layout! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. We had some cleaning issues, but they were addressed promptly by the property manager and corrected immediately. To me that is the most important thing when staying at a place. If an issue arises (because they can when you depend on someone to clean your property) , the property manager/owner addresses it quickly and here it was promptly addressed and corrected! So I would definitely stay again because I have full confidence any issue would be addressed quickly and corrected.

It was the cutest and so nice. The property is amazing. We couldn’t find extra trash bags and the property owners answered our messages immediately. So wonderful !

Beautiful home. Great set up for families. Our kids loved Ms. Pac-Man & the hot tub!

The cabin was perfect for our needs and when there was a plumbing issue(that we didn't cause) they came right out and took care of it. They even installed a new toilet for us. Very Clean and just as described.

Awesome!! It was everything we thought it would be! Had plenty of room, and was so nice & clean!! Would most definitely stay again! We enjoyed the fire pit outside even in July! Good times & memories sitting by the fire!!

9 family members stayed here for our family reunion. The place was immaculate, airy but with a cozy cabin feel. Loved the open kitchen and all the sitting space. The bathroom space certainly served our needs. Bonus porch that looked out into nature gave us relaxing time to sit, drink coffee and play music. We enjoyed our time there very much.

Beautiful cabin is as the pictures on the site shows. Very peaceful and comfortable for our family. Loved that you felt secluded on the property even though you really aren’t and the little stories in town were very close. It was only lacking a few kitchen items that we picked up from the dollar store nearby.

Very nice cabin enjoyed bonding time woth grandkids. They loved the hot tub.
