This place was amazing. Perfect spot for a fall getaway filled with hiking and relaxing. Had everything you would need. The shower didnt work due to how low the lake was but after contacting the owner, it was promptly fixed. Would highly recommend staying here!

Small, compact cabin that met my expectations. A nice waterfront lot with complete privacy. A great place to stay.

Wonderful! As described, rustic off the grid. Host is nearby and available for any issues. (We only had a small one and that was taken care of promptly) Swimming and stars at night made this vacation totally enjoyable. We had great meals, the kitchen had plenty of wares and the grill was clean with plenty of propane. Thank you Steve and Julie!!

We could not have been happier with our stay here! This perfectly secluded cabin on the lake was just what we needed. From grilling dinner each night, to late nights on the dock or in front of the fire pit we found the perfect gem of a vacation spot. Thank you to Steve and Julie for hosting us, we had a ton of fun and can't wait to come back!

We stayed here for the “quick” 40 minute commute to Acadia National Park. The cabin itself ended up being a center of our trip. Beautiful pond with a sunrise view and great wildlife. Drive into there can be sketchy, but everyone nearby was very nice. Lots of gas powered amenities and other convenient stuff provided by the host. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful setting, very well stocked kitchen made cooking easy and enjoyable. If you enjoy being off the grid without electricity, this is the place for you to get away from it all!

This property had everything we needed! We came for Acadia but this site quickly became a highlight of our trip. We kayaked, made our meals, and stargazed here. The best place to come home to and escape the busyness of Bar Harbor. Commuting to and from Acadia was very easy too. We did the sunrise hike at Cadilaac and the commute was very doable

If you are looking for outdoors and nature than this is for you. Cabin was nice and cozy with everything you need to get by. Wildlife was absolutely amazing. Plenty of Loons around and a few Muskrats. All in all the wildlife and the views are absolutely amazing. Best of all I had almost no service meaning no pesky calls from work! 5 out of 5 would definitely go back again!

We had a wonderful time! We really only used the cabin to sleep. We were outside enjoying the beauty of Maine especially the great swimming. Our kids loved sleeping in the loft even though it got kind of hot up there. This is the perfect getaway spot if you are hoping to completely unplug!

Directions were a little confusing but the signs were very helpful! Overall an amazing stay with memories we will cherish forever. (My 11 year old niece caught her first big large mouth bass! 5lbs- 20 inches) Hosts have plenty of pots/pans etc for those little things you forget at home. Lots of games and extra blankets for cold nights. Extremely grateful for an unforgettable weekend with family and friends in a beautiful location. Thank you and we will definitely be back!
