This was our first time staying in a cabin as adults,but having grown up hunting and fishing in the Northern California mountains This brought back some good memories. The place was excellent! Even had a private back porch area. And location!!! We got to watch the sun rise AND set over the lake,as we were able to walk across the street to sit on the shore. Great communication with the owner,and enjoyed our week!

What I thought was unique about the foxhole was that they had some of the old gadgets. Like the old phone , dvd player , the kitchen stove & oven

Unique, rustic cabin with all the amenities. Everything we needed was provided.

Cabin was amazing, perfect for a weekend getaway. Public beach across the street, Lakenenland and Casino within minutes and Marquette about a 10 minute drive. Upside for me, but might be a downside to others, there isn't any wifi and mobile data is very slow.

Clean comfy cozy cabin with everything we expected and more! Third year coming and we have never been disappointed Our Host Sarah is very receptive to any concern you may have! The location cannot be beat, right across a 2 lane road to the Lake Superior shoreline. Is also about a 20-30 min drive to either Marquette or MunisingNot fancy just perfect!!

Super cozy home with a great kitchen! The DVD selection made our nights memorable— never even heard of The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond. The beach access was amazing and so easy to get to. This was a 30th Birthday trip and the cozy cabin vibes made it so special and reminded us of childhood. Thank you for opening your home to us we can’t wait to come back! My only complaint was that I didn’t book the Fox Hole for longer.. and that was all my fault

It was a very nice place for just chilling and taking in the vibe of Northern Michigan. Great location although technically not on the beach but across a road to a scenic overlook point that you can walk down with the beach which was beautiful.Only issue was that we were given wrong instructions on entering with the code. Since the location is off the grid with no internet access, we could not communicate with Sarah the host. Fortunately we figured it out after a few minutes. Sharing her phone number will help the next guests.It was very clean and very quaint. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the bed was very comfortable.The gas stand alone fireplace did not work. Did not want to mess with it and create a hazard.Oh yeah, when we got to open the door a mouse did come out. No big deal, this is the country and that's what you see out in Rustic Nature (btw, did not see any mouse droppings in the cabin)If you want a plac

It was the perfect rustic cabin for our stay. Close to NMU and it was grwat to spend some quality time with the kids. We will definitely return.

Great location on edge of town and across road from beach. Everything you need for a nice in Marquette area. Fire pit on sandy spot with supplied wood was great!

The overall vibe is right in the name, its rustic, and if that is what you're looking for this place rocks. It's very cozy and comfortable. The location is nothing short of perfection, right across the road from a beautiful beach, and with great view lines of the sunset and moon right from the comfort of a well stocked firepit.

Perfect location to reset, an amazing place. Wonderful clean beach a short walk away.

We really enjoyed the stay! The Sunset on the beach was near perfect and the rainy day, staying inside playing games was just as perfect. We loved it

Ised this as home base to do some exploring in Marquette and Munising. Had a couple days of bad weather,but we made the best of it and went down to the casino. The nice nights were spent looking at the lake while enjoying a nice fire. We actually lived the fact that there was no TV, internet, wifi and not so great cell service. It truly helped us unplug from the hectic lives we lead.The Foxhole is so cute and comfy. It was absolutely perfect for our vacation. We will definitely check into staying again the next time we are up in the UP.

Thank you, Foxhole! Our stay was incredible - the cabin had everything we needed. So many sleeping choices, fully-stocked kitchen and bathroom.We couldn't have asked for a better location. The beach is a 20 second walk away. The adjacent road is quiet at night. Easy to get to Marquette for groceries and shopping. Would stay again!!!

Check-in was a little confusing. We were unsure of which unit was ours. We figured it out. It was a great stay.

Rustic indeed, in the best kind of way! Just enough seclusion while being close enough to all you need. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The beach access across the road was a huge plus. We’ll be back!

This house was phenomenal. It's exactly as described-- very rustic, but charming nonetheless. The area surrounding the home is just as nice as the home itself. The beach access is just wonderful, as is the ability, on a clear night, to see one of those gorgeous Upper Peninsula dark skies. Overall, a great experience.

Had a great time at the Foxhole, was perfectly located near a beautiful beach and only about a 15 min drive to downtown.

We loved our stay here, right across from Lake Superior and a beautiful beach with sandy hills. 15 minutes from Marquette. The house was very clean, and our group of 4 were very comfortable. Would certainly stay again!
