Stayed Oct 1, 2025Absolutely stunning, peaceful property. The area was remote, which was very nice. It's beautiful and quiet. The lake was yards from the backdoor and very serene. Paul and Gina were very kind and gracious hosts!

Stayed Jul 25, 2025My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We brought our paddle boards so being right on Lake Independence was great. The living space was very clean, had everything we needed (including a comfortable bed!), and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We also loved being about 35 minutes from Marquette - there is a wonderful Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings that we recommend going to. We also enjoyed hiking at Yellow Dog Falls and Dead River Falls (more advanced). We had a great trip and would stay here again!

Stayed Aug 28, 2024My partner and I had a lovely time at Gina and Paul's place. It is located close to many sights in the Huron Mountains for exploring, and day trips to Marquette were convenient. The place was very clean, very well stocked, and in a beautiful location. Your front door is practically on the lake!
