Stayed Jul 28, 2025The property is on the river, but definitely not completely renovated and improved, as stated in the listing. Self Check-In was easy and convenient. The cabin is described as classic studio- We would describe it as a rustic studio. Upon entering the porch, there was only 1 chair and a porch swing, which did not look at the river but at the porch next door. There were no chairs by the river for us, as shown in their ad and the picnic table had sap on the seats, which ruined my new shorts. The grill fell apart when we touched it- a safety hazzard to be sure. The kitchen is tight, but expected in a very small cabin. The knotty pine walls were clean and made it look cozy. The sleeping area is also very tight but adequate. The bathroom was awful. We were misled by the ad that this was renovated or improved. We could not use the shower due to what we can only assume is mold on the tiles. (see picture) We left early every morning and showered at my son's rental, at a different location. Sad to say that this rental ruined our vacation experience.

Stayed Aug 6, 2024Such a peaceful setting. Very close to the river. We sat by the river and read for hours and then when the thunderstorms came we sat in the screened in porch and continued to enjoy the river. Great location for exploring the national park and I appreciated the advanced notice of the timed entry requirements of the park. We had a maintenance problem and when I reported it they fixed it same day. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave and return to reality.
